Work great! No need to spend more to get sharp, easy to use Nippers.
Great little nippers! I expected these to second rate, based on the price, and that they don't come in fancy packaging (that I'd throw away anyway.) As it turns out, these are sharp, and work perfectly as thread nippers. They are just what I need, and easy to use when I'm wearing quilting gloves, too. The blades are thin enough to slip between fabric and the machine's feed dogs in order to relieve the occasional tangle of threads that can sometimes occur. They are not designed to be used as scissors to cut fabric, and although I've used them for that purpose to make some small cuts in sheer fabric and they've worked "okay", it's better to use scissors for that kind of work. For cutting threads, they work quite well, and for the price I can easily keep one at each of my machines, so they are always at hand. As long as you are going to use them for the purpose they are designed for, i.e., clipping threads, they are great. I use them to snip threads between starter cloth and the beginning of seams, between quilting pieces I've sewn in long series, and to clip the "eyelashes" that my auto-cutter leaves on the back side of quilts. I've used them for about 2 years, and all three are still sharp, rust free, and going strong. I was going to buy some fancy ($25) name brand thread nippers, but now I like these and have no need for anything else for nipping threads. I love that they are such a great value and work so well for the purpose. I can keep one at each machine, so I never have to hunt for them. Another plus is that I don't have to remove my quilting gloves in order to use them, the way I would need to if I bought the high priced kind with the finger loop. I love these little nippers.

As advertised
Iโve only used one of them. And they serve the purpose quite well. I use them to snip yarn. No complaints. Good stuff!

Excellent
These are truly a compact and handy tool for sewing, cloth work, or just to have on hand. The blades are sharp and extremely thin, so they can cut down to the surface. I use the scissors to trim the fabric pulls on my couch caused by my cat's claws. Perfect, without breaking or cutting the upholstery I can cut right down to the cloth with no damage. A three pack is ideal. One for every room or drawer.
