Does this unit have output connection for that?** A: No. I this unit doesn’t support the interior warning light. **Q: I need a unit to replace a goulds pump inc model #als6-1 controller (c.1983 or so), floods a commercial septic, 2 pumps. will this unit do it?** A: No. This is for a single residential pump system. **Q: My alarm has been going off for about 5 seconds at random times, normally during the night. The pump however seems to be functioning properly.** A: it could be a defective alarm or the alarm float in your tank is at the same height as your pump float and it comes on when the pump comes on. Open the lid of the tank and see if the black(alarm) float and the pump(gray) float are at least 6-8 inches apart. The gray should be lower. It is being used in a septic tank for a pump and haul. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by C***. on February 21, 2024* Works exactly as it’s supposed to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Check your float before install *by J***E on April 25, 2024* I'm a licensed septic contractor and have used these for years. I have never had any issues with these, however upon my latest install u found the alarm float did not work properly. On all other float actuators you can clearly hear the ball bearing inside the float cylinder that makes the connection and breaks it. The one I recieved di not work at all and I had to run to the plumbing store mid day and grab another new float. Not a big deal but a bit of inconvenience. Amazon has made it right by me though and gave me a credit for the amount I had to pay for a new alarm float ($75).
