always wanted yellow hair dye & finally have it.i bleached my hair from brown to white (using a different company's bleaching product).i waited 2 days before adding the color (you don't have to, it's just my preference in case i need to use more bleach).I found the writing in the bottle small, so had to look at the website. it says to put hair dye on dry hair, cover your hair in a cap, and let the dye sit for 30 minutes or a bit longer if you choose. rinse the color in tepid water until the water runs clear. towel dry and you are good to go..i like to leave the color on for 1.5 hours, as my hair takes longer for the color to absorb.color rinsed off a bit, but still came out perfectArctic Fox Cosmic Sunshine is the perfect shade of yellow.Get yourself some today...

Let me preface this by saying I am not a professional and I have no training but I looooove this color so much. I started with a copperish/orange color, did some bleach treatments to prep then used Sunset Orange on the midlength, Cosmic Sunshine on the tips, and Poison on the top to get this ombre effect. I have fairly thick hair and used about half of each 8oz bottle, and I was liberal with my application. My hair was NOT blonde prior to using the dye but the colors still turned out super vibrant which was pleasantly surprising! I did not want to have to bleach too much and cause damage so I expected the colors to be more muted but they turned out so bright and vibrant despite my hair not being very blonde. I've only washed once since dyeing so I can't speak to the longevity but it doesn't seem to have faded much at all after one wash so that's good news. It has very minor stained my shower floor but that's to be expected, nothing a little bleach can't fix. I also love that this brand is cruelty free and vegan. I am already plotting the next colors I want to use!!!Update: as of April I have now purchased over 10 colors and used various mixes of them to create amazing gradients. The blue was a little difficult to strip out but not overly so and it was ultimately was covered up beautifully by the pink/purple anyway. I'm always plotting what color combos I'm going to do next!!

Love this and will continue to use it. Colour is going strong on my 5th wash. It has stayed vibrant. I have thick shoulder length hair and didn't need more than half of the bottle. I have had it come off on to a jumper but the yellow had come out in the wash.

Has the typical cherry candy smell of all Arctic Fox products. My boyfriend asked why my hair was fruity. You need bleached hair at a level nine or ten for vibrant yellow, or it will lean more towards orange-ish yellow. My hair is only on it's first process with the ends being lighter than the middle so it created a mixed tone.It starts fading after about 2-3 washes depending on the harshness of your shampoo, and your rinse temperature (always wash and rinse hair in cold water to make color last longer).Pro tip, cover your sink with a towel you don't mind staining, wear gloves to apply and rinse off as well. I recommend this with all hair dye. If you get it on your skin, rub gently with nail polish remover on a cotton ball, takes it right off. This works for sinks and tubs too if you use it fresh. Make sure to use some petroleum jelly on your hairline and anywhere you don't want to stain your skin. Use a plastic hair cap to allow it to develop better and not dry out during processing.
