ECCO MX Mid Boot Gore-TEX®

I used these boots to hike the Grand Canyon. Like past ECCO foot wear they are very comfortable and durable. Prior to buying this pair, I tried the highly rated Solomon hiking boots but found the ECCO’s much better. With that said, I like the Solomon fast ties which unfortunately ECCO didn’t seem to have.

These boots are excellent. First off I ride a motorcycle year round, it is my primary driver. First time I wore these boots I got caught in a pretty big downpour. These boots held up nicely completely waterproof. My feet were nice and dry. They are warm without being too warm and seem to breathe nicely. I like how the top of the boots around the ankle are not bulky. They are extremely comfortable both in terms of cushioning and overall fit around your foot. The traction is excellent. They are a little slippery at first, but once you wear them around for a couple of days, they have great traction all types of surfaces both city and trails. Can’t beat it for around $100!

Great boots, but the insole is embarrassingly cheap for Ecco. If you replace the paper-thin insole with a decent after-market pair, you're left with an EXCELLENT pair of boots that are comfortable, waterproof, and sharp looking.

Great. I can work longer.

Boot was very comfortable, feels more like a sneaker but after less then a year of owning them both boots are falling apart near the toes where the boot creases while walking.

I have chronic pain in my ankle and Achilles and a high arch, and I often have to wear hiking boots as my daily footwear. These boots help me a ton. I own four pairs. I rarely have foot pain after wearing them all day. They are made so well that I don't need inserts. I use these boots more as a walking and working shoe than a hiker, and the Goretex gets to be a bit stuffy. I wish Ecco had an option of this boot without Goretex. I haven't had any of the ripping or tearing that I see in the customer photos here. On a side note, the low top versions of this boot don't fit my foot as well even though they look almost identical to the boots.

These used to be the best boots I could buy for all day walking and delivering mail. This last pair I bought you could tell the quality was way down, the tounge got smaller which was worrisome as they are water resistant. I originally didn’t mind as I try not to go through puddles. After a couple months these have already worn down, what used to last a year now lasted less then three months. The quality went down heavily and I can no longer recommend to buy these boots, which is sad because they were my favorite pair of work boots.

Good quality keeps feet dry, and your feet can breth in them.

Gute Passform, Wasserdicht, guter GRIP!Selbst nach 15 km keine müden Füße.Obwohl die Stiefel relativ schmal vorn erscheinen passen da auch meine breiten Flossen rein. Von der Größe her:Ich hab 42.5, 43 bestellt und passen mit etwas dickeren Socken (Falke TK2)Hervorragend. Wasserdichtigkeit ist nun bei dem Wetter eindeutig bewiesen, auch wenn man bis zur Hälfte der Schuhe einer Schlammpfütze begegnet.Das Profil ist geeignet für jeden Untergrund, auch Schnee und Glätte meistern die Schuhe gut.Für den Preis eine klare Empfehlung

My husband loves these boots. We bought them to trip around Europe in November. He was very pleased with the comfort for long walking days. They are warm and waterproof. Highly recommend these boots.
