Keyboard Replacement for Dell Inspiron 1545 1525 1420 Laptop US Black

This was a replacement for the original Dell 1525 keyboard, which was failing on several keys. The package came next day, very well packaged and protected from shipping damage. It installed in less than 5 minutes and worked perfectly. The only difference from the original is color, it is black rather than gray, but the letters are white and are a better contrast than the original. The metal backing is solid, same design as the original, very little flexing while you type. Overall - Excellent!

Works well as a replacement for your old keyboard. It's the same as the original OEM in my dell 1545 laptop. Device is easy to put into the laptop also if you know what you're doing and if not I'm sure you can find a youtube video to show you how to quickly do it. No issues with it after a few weeks worth of usage.

Product was used to replace damage laptop keyboard and is working fine. No issues as of yet.

I am a 74 year old with limited experience with electronics. My old keyboard had keys that did not work, so I had to do something or give up using my laptop. I ordered this keyboard, and it came in 2 days. With the help of a small flat screwdriver and philllips screwdriver I installed the keyboard in a few minutes. So easy. And now I can type on my keyboard again. Fabulous and cheap. I should have done this a month ago. Very happy with purchase.

About a dozen keys on my 2009 Inspiron 1545 keyboard stopped working. I needed a laptop to write some code on so I decided to fix my laptop versus buying a new one. It took about 5 minutes to swap the keyboards. Very easy and simple. I'm writing this review using the keyboard no. It's 100% identical to the original and works beautifully. Not bad for about $10. If your keyboard doesn't work, or you just want to freshen it up, I recommend this 100%.
