While refreezing the ice pack the container itself will stay cool for up to 13 hours (maybe longer but that’s how long I tested it). Great size for a backpack or medium/large purse. Durable enough that if it gets bumped around it will be safe.

The container and accessories are perfect for air travel and hot locations. We used this for our recent trip to the Caribbean and it was a godsend. We could travel around with medication in pens for the whole day and it stayed cold. The built-in temperature probe gave us confidence that our precious cargo inside was safe and sound. The temperature inside did not rise after a whole day outside with temperatures over 90 F. The travel bag is nice to protect the canister. The only concern is that tapping the top to turn on the display was finicky. There should be a label on the top for where to tap.
