I bought one for work and liked enough to buy another one for home. Honestly I can't tell you what the difference is. I have'nt had them side by side. I put a 6 amp hour battery on them (generic) and lasts longer than I inticipated. **Q: Battery not fitting i have makita 18v bl1815** A: Bl1815 only works with certain smaller tools, like impact drills. I believe the bl1820 is the smallest size that will work on the larger tools **Q: Can you suck up water?** A: Absolutely not !! Doesn’t even suck DUST. THERE IS NO MOTOR FILTER so don’t do it. **Q: How does this product do blowing snow off of a Jeep? Looking to be able to keep it in my Jeep to blow it off before going to work.** A: Probable not .
