I used this to patch a few scratches I had on my hot tub cover. 1. I cleaned the area first 2.mesured and cut the patches. 3. after I rolled them out I found they wanted to roll back up so I placed them on the heater vent for a while to make them more pliable. 4. I pealed the backing and rubbed them onto the surface several times. after two weeks they seem to work great. I hope they make through the summer heat.

Update: Company reached out to me and offered a full refund, which was accepted and applied. Good customer service support. Purchased for my leather couch. Cleaned leather first (with leather cleaner), then followed up with water to ensure no cleaner remained. Waited 24 hours to ensure it was good and dry. Unrolled the tape and laid out on the floor to ensure it laid flat. Applied the patch tape to my couch, held it in place, released and it stuck "briefly". Within one hour was self pealing away at all the seams (without anyone sitting on the couch. If the repair was on a seat that you were sitting on, it probably would work well. It just doesn't seem to adhere well when applied in a vertical direction. So good for when applied on any part that will have someone seated and applying pressure from their body weight.

Very effective product, easy to cut with scissors. The color I chose matched that of the curtain rods- which would not hold together any longer. Adhesive very easy to install, but rather expensive &. came from China ????

Horrible!! Doesn’t stick to couch. My cat scratched up the arm of my leather couch. The tape didn’t even last an hour before falling off. One long piece has stayed yet unravels at the bottom and I have to flatten it down every day. Don’t waste your money
