The STRO and SPORQ are both made from high-quality, BPA-free materials. The STRO straw is ultra compact (about 3"x1.5"x.6" in holder) and looks discrete enough to blend in on any keychain, bag, or belt buckle. It even slides right into your front pocket with ease. You may even forget it's there until you're ready for a drink, that is! We know there are other reusable straw alternatives out there and we absolutely love that this market is growing because, frankly, it's long overdue. We've found that many other reusable straws are either too bulky to carry around, too flimsy to sip straight, or too aesthetically unappealing. Was a little hesitant due to lack of verbal reviews but this is a pretty good straw. The carrying case is designed pretty well in terms of functionality, though it is made out of cheaper plastic. The straw itseof is surprisingly thick (like this is not made of inferior thin metal) there is zero chance of it bending over time. There is also perfect sucking in the straw when fully assembled. It can be a bit tricky separating the straw if it's still a bit wet due to the locking grooves on the attached sections of the straw, however if you rotate the section as you try to pull them apart, it's a little easier. Would definitely buy again.

So I've bought several portable resusable straws to use in instead. I liked this one enough that this is my second purchase of. What I like best is that when the three pieces are fitted together the straw is strong and rigid instead of being kind of wobbly feeling like some collapsible designs I've bought. Coming apart in thee sections makes is easier to clean. The carrying case for the straw holds in the pieces firmly; they don't fall out the moment the top is opened. I do wish that the cleaning brush that comes with it could also fit into that little case, but that's a minor thing for me.
