Brooks England Cambium All Weather Bike Seat - High Mileage, Waterproof, Carved/Standard Bicycle Saddle (C15, C17, C19)

Excellent seat for an upright style bicycle.

It is not light but very elegant and needs no maintenance. It takes a while for me to fit my ass on it, I ordered C19 but got C15c, it is narrower than C19 but Amazon was so generous and gave the wrong shipment of C15c for free for me. C15 is a little bit too narrow but comfy for fast biking. C19 is more relax but the actual feeling is not that different because most of the support is at the back of the saddle which has no padding or flex.Overall, you cannot go wrong with C Cambium series.

Was gibt's da eigentlich noch zu sagen. Brooks bedeutet einerseits ne Menge Geld, liefert aber auch ab. Man bekommt was für sein Geld und sein Hobby. Alles andere würde schon geschrieben.

L'impression de qualite est bien reel. Beaucoup plus de confort resenti immediatement. J'ai pris le model C19, que je trouve un peu trop large. Plus petite (C17) sera peut-etre suffisant pour une homme de moyenne gabarit.

I tried multiple different foam, gel, comfort, touring, vented and whatever else saddles and nothing was as comfortable as this Brooks Cambium. Note that I am a senior citizen, 6'-6" tall and weigh 250#. I actually tried both the Brooks Cambium C17 and C19 and while both were better than anything else I had tried, the C19 edged out the C17 for my old-man butt. (If you're a male under 50 and/or under 200 pounds, the C17 is probably the better touring saddle choice.) I really like the grip of the cambium surface, it's a lot like broken in leather -- not slippery, but doesn't hang onto you. Cambium as opposed to leather feels almost fully broken in from the start. All in all a great saddle. Expensive? Yes. A little heavy? Yes (but not so bad as most of the padded or gel seats). But the comfort outweighs both of those for my touring and around town needs.
