No, it wasn't raining men but it was a ton of Whirly Gigs from soft Maple trees
My backyard has no trees while my neighbor has several 30' trees that just love to drop their seedlings into my yard and gutters. There must be at least 10 thousand whirly gigs EVERYWHERE. It drives me crazy but I can't control their final destination. I read many reviews and compared products for style, ease of installation, performance, durability , customer satisfaction and cost. I sent for a sample too, before deciding to bite the bullet and buy the best. At $5.45 per linear foot I trust that these will be worth the time, money and effort spent. I bought 325' linear feet for my single story house after a "salesman" told me I would need somewhere in the neighborhood of 1100' linear feet. Not sure where or how he learned to measure but he didn't get my business. I bought the house just two years ago and wasn't sure of what kind were installed. To my surprise, they were cheap, vinyl, twisted pieces that weren't even fastened down. Glad I decided to replace. My son-in-law is smart and knowledgeable with his own remodeling business for the past 15 years. Not afraid to tackle anything so I asked him if he would install for me and of course he said "yes". About 3/4 of the way through the project I asked him if he had ever done this before and he said "no, this was the first time". We figured it up and he did the installation in 8 hours over two days. He started by blowing the crud out of the gutters with his blower and then used his power washer to finish moving any remaining gunk. Our gutters are 6" and the guards fit perfect. He continued laying out the 5' sections and securing with the included fasteners with his drill. Only time he had to stop was long enough to use his power miter saw for the corners which came together beautifully. Anything worth doing, is worth doing right and he is very good at what he does. He has done any and all of my home repairs and never ceases to amaze me. His working rate to me was a very reasonable rate of $125.00 an hour and well worth it. Anyway, the Art of Gutter gutters look fantastic, appear to be very well made (not flimsy at all) are heavier than most competitors, made in the USA and in the long run will be worth the money for my piece of mind. They were delivered before my anticipated delivery date but I was short 1 box. I called the company to inform and the very next day they were here. Possible the boxes were separated on accident in the delivery truck? This is one job that's marked off my "to do" list and moving onto the next. By the way, the waste was very minimal from the miter cuts and I have 4 pieces left just in case. At 76, these guards will be here and working fine long after I'm gone. Don't fall for these leaf filter ads on TV. We got an estimate from one of the major companies that started at $18,000. With all their discounts, they got it down to $12,000. I told the salesman he had one shot and give me your best price. He came back with $11,000 and we said "NO". Two weeks later he called and offered to do it for $5400.00 on our 1900 sf home. We spent less than $3,000 on the product and my-son-in law's expertise. Read and follow the instructions.

Great Guards!
I will start by saying these gutter guards are great! They install extremely easily, even when your gutters aren't perfect. I went with these gutter guards, even though they cost more than average, for many reasons, but mainly because they are made in the USA! The drip edge off the front is a very nice feature, and I also like how the back lip rests against your drip edge on your house. Other brands are designed to stick up under your shingles and you have to fasten them down under your first row of shingles. That design, not like these, can cause ice daming issues (we get a lot of snow). These gutter guards are EXTREMELY sturdy, and are the strongest gutter guards I could find. This was a top priority for me with the amount of leaves, sticks, and debris I usually have to shovel out of my gutters every year. The wide range of colors these come in are also nice, so you can find a close color to match your gutters and your house. I have navy blue gutters, I installed black gutter guards, and you can't even see them installed when you stand on the ground. The screws these guard come with also work great! The only complaint I have is I wish the mesh screen overlapped further from one piece to the other. You can see the slight gaps in the photo I posted. It's not ideal to me, but the pros of these guards far out weighed the cons. There is still the thick aluminum portion of the frame, but I wish the mesh would overlap further, even half an inch would be great.I will update as time goes on, but as of now, these work great and are already keeping seeds and tree buds out!

Good product
I do a lot of reviews on Amazon products because I order a lot due to my location in the sticks. I always try to give an unbiased view of my experience that will help others decide if they would use the product so here goes. (1) Does it appear in person as advertised. Yes. (2) Does it install as advertised? Yes. (3) Does it work as advertised? Beats me because it hasn’t rained yet but I fully expect that it will based on what I have seen during installation. If that changes I will amend this review. So, the screens came in two boxes. They were slightly bent at the corners but easily bent back by hand. Some of the screens were bowed at the end probably due to misalignment in the press brake. I measured the width at both ends and it was out 1/16” which probably accounts for the bow. There is no way to correct this but I don’t think it will materially affect performance. I installed 100 ft. over 3 days (it was really cold) by myself. If your gutters are in good shape (unlike mine) I expect that it could be done in a day. I bought a metal cutting blade for my chop saw at Lowe’s for six bucks and change and it worked fine. You can’t cut this product with a hacksaw (I mean I guess you could but it would look like a dog’s breakfast). You could also use an angle grinder with a metal cutting wheel attached but my recommendation is a chop saw. You get plenty of screws (self-piercing, not self-tapping) which work reasonably well. It takes some effort to get them started but they hold great once in. I thought of drilling pilot holes at one point but it really isn’t worth it. Just ram them in and stop before they strip themselves out. This product is well-made, easy to install by a reasonably handy person, and, I am sure, will work as advertised. No more gutter cleaning for me!OK, as promised, my assessment after it rained. It performed as advertised with no spillover and did not lessen the gutter performance whatsoever. Unless you look closely, you can’t even tell the screens are there at all.One last thing. I think we have all had negative experiences with vendors from indifference to outright rudeness so I would like to give a BIG shoutout to Art of Gutter. They offered a rebate depending on size of order if the customer wrote a review on Amazon. Not a positive review, just a review. I posted the review and got an email from them the same day it posted, and the rebate (Amazon Gift Card for $75.00) was verified by Amazon. I also had occasion to email them regarding cutting the screens and was answered almost immediately even though it was Saturday. So they don’t just sell you the product and then disappear into the woodwork. In this day and age I must say I am impressed.
