What is the company doing to protect the jars from breaking in shipping? There’s quite a few reviews of product damage due to bad packaging.

Zero. Awful packing. Look elsewhere.

Do these come in a 10oz?

I don’t know. But my experience with them was so negative i wouldn’t bother with any of their products.

Will wide mouth mason jar lids fit this?

No. The lids measure 2 and 1/4 inches across. Mason jar lids are much wider.
