One of the best - due to it's cutting head - trimmers I've ever used - period!
Hey all you trim-aholics. As a 73-year-old guy, who is experiencing that syndrome that bothers all senior citizens - "friekin' hair everywhere," I've been through the gamut testing and using a variety of nose and ear trimmers over the years. I hate being a senior citizen because I swear, you get hair growin' everywhere - even in places where it shouldn't be! So staying on top of the game is essential here. The problem with most ear and nose trimmers is that the cutting heads (the circular ones with the notches going in a circle) are all the same, and they don't always do the job. How many times have you tried using these types of trimmers, and get frustrated, cursing out loud, because it's just not cutting the Amazon rain forest that you have growin' in your nostrils or your ear canal? Now enter the ConairMAN MetalCraft High Performance Metal Ear and Nose Hair Trimmer. After almost giving up trying to find a trimmer that really works, I saw this ConairMan version on Amazon and noticed the head - 'cause it was radically different. So I took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived, I was surprised to see a nose and ear trimmer that was exceptionally well-built, had a heavier feel (durable), and that unique head piqued my curiosity. I immediately ran to the bathroom and began trying to trim everything I could. All I could say was "wow," it cut everything with such simplicity. It does the job thoroughly - better than the 16 other trimmers I've tried over the past several years, and that's not an exaggeration. And it trims close also, especially inside the nose, running the full length, and of course the ears. It's easy to clean also - and it takes a battery (no having to use USB to charge). I've thrown all my other trimmers out - and this ConairMan version is stayin." Your mileage may vary of course as we're all different.

Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Not Just for Men! Works Great!
This Conair Nose hair trimmer may be advertised for men, but it works for great for women too. It does a terrific job cutting hairs close to the roots where all I'm left with is hairless nostrils. It's design allows me to reach the areas I want to defuzz without pain or discomfort. It's also very easy to clean by just removing the head assembly and running under water. It's made very well with a metal handle. It turns on by twisting the base. It has a plastic cap that protects the razor head and makes it ideal to toss in a briefcase or overnight bag. It does require one AA battery that is not included. I've tried other methods of nose hair removal and this product is by far the easiest and most effective thus far. I really believe that the way Conair designed the razor's head is what sets this trimmer above others I've tried. I highly recommend it to those who want to simplify a personal grooming task while expecting terrific results. I've taken some photos to give you a closer look and hope that they along with my experience helps you out a bit with your choice. Thank you.

Great when it wants to turn on
I've probably purchased like six different nose clippers that have great reviews this one is by far the best when I can get it to turn on this has more RPMs than all the other ones have so much that it kind of vibrates the nose a little bit and take some getting used to but you get such a closer shave with it because the end is longer than the regular style ones that they have with this one you can get farther in the nose and it really does give a closer shave versus the other standard nose trimmers I put the battery in but when you turn it to the on position you either got to do it softly because it doesn't have a good connection sometimes when you turn it on it'll turn on and you got to make sure you can't touch the bottom part otherwise any little touch will turn it off and other times you go to turn it on and nothing it'll only power on when you put pressure on the side of it I would imagine when you turn it on there's a metal piece inside that makes contact with a another metal piece with probably grounds it out and completes the connection so it can turn on it's probably not up far enough to be able to create a good connection like I said it's great when it wants to turn on I use some of the cheaper ones in got as much snow as here as I could with it and then use this one right after and you can tell that the cheaper other versions were not getting all the hairs I'm pretty handy when it comes to fixing things in electronics so if this ever doesn't turn on and I can't get it to turn on and stay on then I will probably try to get that metal bar pulled up a little bit so it makes better contact I purchased the high performance one I had to look up how to turn it on because I put the battery in it was in the right way and I tried turning the knob a couple times and it wouldn't turn on so that's when I looked up how to turn it on and seeing that I was doing it right so then I turned it on and was messing with it a little bit and probably one time out of every three times I turned it on it would turn on and stay on EDIT after writing this couldn't get it to turn on I used needle nose pliers and a small pick and pinched the bottom wires in the bottom cap tords each other then used the pick o bring the wire up more and now it's works like it's supposed to be careful not to be careful not to break the metal wire piece off

Best trimmer I've ever used, bar none.
This is truly a breakthrough trimmer -- better than every other possible nose grooming solution I've tried to date, by miles. The magic is that their product design is specifically targeted toward a single purpose -- the best nose trim you'll ever find. For software folks, this is the Unix philosophy of product design: do one thing and one thing only, and do it *very* well. No special attachments to do eyebrows. No special attachments to do a second-class beard job. No. Oh, no. Instead they designed an innovative mushroom-shaped tip to actually get up under the lip in the nostril, and solve the single most frustrating problem with other trimmers. The round-tipped ones are garbage because they don't actually provide a close shave; the flat-tipped ones are garbage because they can't actually trim close around the corner without warping your nostril -- and that just leaves way too much room for error. I know I'm treading on fan-boy marketing PR territory here, but trust me fellas, this is the real deal precision-engineered solution. It's *loud*; this thing is a serious weed-whacker. This makes it a bit less than optimal for in-ear use. You'll hear this thing, but it won't cause lasting damage. Just another sign that they did not try to optimize for every use case -- only one. It's how greatness is achieved. Highly recommended for both nose and ear. I'd daresay it's been a life changing purchase, which is rare for $15 items. You can't go wrong.

Great Product
I've bought a lot of nose hair trimmers. This is the first one I've ever purchased that I would actually recommend. It works great. No pulling, cuts through the hair very well, and it's design makes it easy to remove nose hairs in hard to reach places. I'll never buy another type of nose hair trimmer. The head design is brilliant and this trimmer works flawlessly.

Best trimmer I have ever used
I was reluctant to spend this much on a nose hair trimmer but this thing is basically like waxing your nostrils without the pain. It is awesome and gets into all the little crevasses without pinching or cutting your skin. I have thin blond hair and my husband has thick course hair and it works great for us both. I like that you can easily rinse it with water & runs off of a battery. I very highly recommend, you wonโt be disappointed, I havenโt been this nose hair free since high school.

This thing works far better than you might think
I was looking for a grooming aid for nose and ear hair that I didn't have a problem with years ago. I have purchased several different ones over the years, but never found them very effective, BUT I saw that this one was recommended by several survey sites, so I thought I'd give it a try. Oh My, does it work great. It cuts hairs on both the push and pull strokes in a very effective way and with no pulling or pinching. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing such a device.

Not metal
I ordered the metal model. The cutting tip is metal. The rest of the unit is metal colored plastic. The packaging goes on and on about it being metal . . . I felt not saying it was just a metal tip was misleading. Does the non metal version have the same metal tip? I don't know. If so then why make a metal version that's actually plastic? It is much louder than my fully metal Wahl trimmer. The Wahl is good for trimming and also has a nose/ear attachment but this cuts a little closer. Just a lot louder . . .

Best Trimmer Ever!
Iโve owned many electric nose hair trimmers and have to say this one beats all of them. This does a great job with no pulling or snagging of nose hairs. Itโs a slight bit louder than the others but hey itโs so worth it. It uses a different method of blade system that is superior than the others. All the other trimmers are exactly the same technology that do a terrible job. Iโm very happy with this purchase.

stopped working-discarded
Can't believe. Purchased on 31st July 2023 for Rs.3670 and today the head stopped rotating INTERMITTENTLY AND and at varying speed. The problem is with its on-off switch which seems not having proper contact. Waste of money. At low speed, it pulls hair causing lot of pain/injury. A made in China-cheap quality and overpriced product. Ultimately thrown away in 6 months.

No more hair in my ears
Works very well no pulling or pinching. My very thick haired brother tried it and was very impressed

It works!
The product works very well. It doesn't have the typical issues other brands have where nose hairs got stuck. I only hope the sounds it generates is a bit quieter. Other than that, it's a fantastic and reliable product.
