THE WORST FIT EVER
I have never bought a sports bra (or any bra for that matter) where the back straps didn't actually meet in the middle to be clipped together. So I couldn't actually do the sports bra up! I am a 34A, petite (5ft 3" tall and weigh 8st 6lbs), so I was astounded at the very small size of this sports bra overall. The quality of this item is way below that of the two previous shock absorber sports bras I've had. The cup material is SO thin (almost see-through), with just one layer of material, which, in my humble opinion, I consider to be unsuitable for the job it was made for. As I couldn't do the bra up, I couldn't put this theory to the test. I shall have to continue wearing my nine year old shock absorber sports bra, which, although is way past its best, is still doing a good job after much use. It's a quality sports bra, which the one I returned certainly wasn't!

Shock Absorber- what happened??
I bought a couple of these early in the year and they fitted well, so I ordered a couple more. Although generally they were the same, they seemed to have skimped on quality slightly- a cheap flimsy itchy size label, no 'shock absorber' embroidery on the chest band and the logo peeled off after one wash. The biggest problem I had is the same problem many have complained about- the chest band was way too tight for a 34. I have never owned a 34c bra before where it was this tight. I'm on the maximum clasp and still it's a horrible fit. When exercising, you need your chest to expand to breathe in more oxygen, this has little 'give' and with such a tight fitting, what's a girl to do? Pass out due to hypoxia?? I've been buying Shock Ab bras for years and so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to buy now. Such a shame.

Bit big, scratchy fabric but surprisingly no movement doing Zumba
I used the guidelines to measure myself but even so I can get my fingers under the bra under my armpit, pull it and have 1/2 an inch gap,and there's about 1.5/2 inch gap under the shoulder strap.I've also got it on the 3rd hook(the tightest one possible) so after i've had it a while and it gets bigger I won't have any wiggle room to tighten it and do it up in the next hook along.Having said that I didn't feel much movement when doing zumba but it could be a different story with jogging. So bare that in mind. The fabric's a bit scratchy but luckily it didn't irritate my skin while dancing.Finding a bra or a sports bra that fits is like finding the holy grail but at least I know that I need to buy a smaller size next time.It keeps the girls in place but it doesn't give you any va va voom cleavage sadly but one really good thing is there's no boob squidging going on at the front/side.Would buy again but a smaller size.

So disappointed with fabric n fit
I had a shock absorber bra before and this time round I am so so disappointed and upset because I ordered two assuming it would be great fabric and a great fit. Neither!! It is also tough on the back sides that it is grazing into my skin!! I wish they refund me as a goodwill gesture or send me something else more comfortable that doesn’t cut me and hold up as they should but as I’ve already tried both on and used one already I am not sure.

Disappointing.
Over the years I've purchased several Shock Absorber Sports Bras from other sources. This one does not compare at all favourably with the others I have. It's flimsy - much less substantial than the others, slightly on the small size and poorer quality than I've come to expect. Won't be buying again.
