This charges my 12v semi portable power system from my 24v solar power system. I've only seen it use 10 amps or less. but it charges fine.

it's been working great just off the 24 volt system my two water pumps the front things that go up and down and everything else is 12 volt works fine including my two diesel heaters so far no problems I did buy the 13.8 volt one which I think is a better bet than the 12.2 cuz has more power to run the pumps and have more water in the shower and what not but I've been pretty happy with it
