are these good for warhammer models?

These little jewels are great for straight up and down and side to side painting. I am not sure what Warhammer models are. So I am not sure.

How stiff are they? Good for chalking?

They are not stiff at all. They are soft and good paint brushes. I do not know if you need them to be stiff for chalking. I use them when painting rocks as well as any house touch-up painting.

Don't have one in front of me but I believe about 1/4".

What you'd expect for the price

Great for one use and throw away. Quite a stiff bristle so good for glue. I have no issues for the price but don't expect a great quality item.
