STAR BRITE Teak Cleaner & Brightener, Restore Weathered Wood, 128 OZ (094900)

This stuff is fabulous for a not fun job. I bought this a year ago for my really neglected teak table & chairs - like haven't cleaned or oiled it i. 3 or 4 years, sits outside in full sun. I put this product in a spray bottle,sprayed it on the surface, let it sit for a couple of minutes & then used the Starbrite teak scrub sponge to scrub it. The scrub sponge worked so much better than a scrub brush from what I observed. Also can get it in between chair slats if you are feeling reall OCD. I scrubbed the entire surface with the spray and the sponge and then rinsed it with the hose. I don't think the pics I took do it justice; whole set looks like new. I did use the sander to quickly knock off a few rough spots but really the metal sponge took care of the majority of that. Wearing a mask is good if you are spraying this like I did; if it blows back in your face you will be coughing. Excellent product, will use every time I have to clean this set.

I have a hardwood bench that is over 30 years old. This worked quickly to loosen and remove dirt, and restore the greying weathered finish to ‘like new’. After scrubbing with a brush and hosing off the bench and letting it dry, I finished with the teak oil. Very pleased with the overall results!

This is the greatest product I’ve ever seen for cleaning teak I have an old tea rocking chair that has been sitting outside for approximately 20 years. It was least to be said dark, gray, and black. We tried cleaning it by sanding it and very said the means got nowhere sell this product ordered it put it on there and followed directions. The black Mow and whatever else was on. It just disappeared and there was pretty redwood. Finish the whole chair and have several people asked me where I bought the new chair. It looks brand new after oil in it and seal it. I recommend this product very highly takes the work out of cleaning old tea also used it on low pine wooden bench. It cleaned it up very well. This is one of the best products I have found to to clean moldy wood

Cleans genuine teak wood very good and leaves it soft to the touch without splintering. DEFINTELY wear some kind of gloves when handling this stuff

Works awesome in accompaniment with a good scrubber pad. Just make sure you wear gloves and eye protection cuz it removes skin layers as effectively as it removes teak scum. See attached before and after shots, although I have not yet reapplied the teak oil.

Follow the directions for the three-step process for amazing results. Will keep using on my teak furniture.

The teak deck was not very dirty. This cleaned it a little better. Did not seem to brighten at all. And now the wood is "fuzzy".

I loved how it worked, be sure to use a proper glove 🧤 it’s very harsh on skin… wash all surface areas including the grounds! Used this on my CANVAS teak table restored the life back into it! Be sure to use step 3 to finished the entire project nicely as this step 1/2 tends to bleach wood (see last photo). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will update if it don’t cure properly!
