We bought a Dell Inspiron 3501 open box from a well known big box electronics store. It only included the brick to wall segment of the charger, but the discount reflected that. We charged it up before we left the store, and went to a different big box store to pick up a universal charger that would fit. The charger physically fit, and met all of the technical power requirements, but the computer threw up a warning window. While the charger would power the machine, it would not charge the battery, and the battery level would drop little by little (~2%/hr.). I checked the Dell website, which made suggestions on chargers, but with no verifiable information. When I read reviews of the chargers there, there were a significant portion complaining of the same problem I had with the universal charger, but on these verified Dell branded chargers! So, I figured I'd take the risk on one of these. And so far (just under a month of usage), the risk has payed off. The charger I received is well built, with a green LED on the brick. (There is no LED on the charger tip that plugs into the computer.) The plugs fit snugly, and and I have not noticed any overheating. While I would prefer an angled tip, this product was advertised as having a straight tip, and it works as well as can be expected. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, and relieved to find a charger that actually charges my laptop. Bonus points for affordability!

Great replacement charger for laptop. New condition.

so far so good. this was a gift for a friend. she received it promptly, she was able to use it right out of the box. i am pleased with the transaction

ok

The charger is Chinesium junk-didn't last even a month. DO NOT BUY!

Plug in and it’s working great.

I bought this charger as an urgent replacement, as out 2 new Golden Retriever puppies decided my original charger was more fun to chew on than on of their toys when I looked away for a moment. The charger came the next day and was a very good quality replacement for my laptop. After plugging it in I did notice the end of the charger that plugs into the charging port on the laptop seemed slightly loose, and after being plugged in firmly, would wiggle itself out maybe a eight of an inch by itself - it didn't stop the laptop from charging though. I contacted the seller and without question they shipped me a new charger free of charge and told me the keep the original one and not have to return it. The second charger fits perfectly and now I have a spare as well for the next time a puppy thinks the laptop charger belongs to them (that WON'T happen again - lol). Great product and customer service!
