After trying many bud and tips combinations for almost a year now, I've landed on thesebwith the round tips. I've been giddy about the incredible fit, function and sound from this headset. 100% perfect for lap swimming!!

Finally the perfect ear buds for lap swimming! I have found that the biggest weakness for any underwater MP3 players are the ear pieces. If you are kicking against a wall when making that reverse very few ear buds can take that pressure. I have been using these ear buds for a few years now and have yet to have any issues with them. I have had a lot of experience dealing with earbuds and MP3 players for about 12 years now since I swim two miles a day and could not get through it without being able to listen to music. I am always looking for the best product and for value and glad to see these at last. I have always used and recommended the H20 ear buds in the past but they have had short comings like the cord being too long, or sometimes weak rubber on the ear pieces. Having said that I always recommend them since they are much better then the earphones that come with most waterproof MP3 players. This latest lap swimming version of their product is the best and I can find no faults with it at all. Somehow they even manage to make the music louder which you really need in lap swimming scenario. They also always stay in my ears and I use the larger rubber tips. Another thing that works even better you can replace the ear buds with New Bee 12pcs Ultra Strong Earphone Memory Foam tips or similar product. The foam expands when water is on them and provides and excellent seal. They degrade over time but really cheap anyway and better then hassling with water in you ear. Also some helpful tips on using waterproof ear buds: 1. Start with the larger ear bud rubber ends first then work your way down to the smaller sizes if that doesn't fit. If you use the larger sizes, you get a tighter barrier against the water. 2. I like to insert them dry but if they don't fit quite right you should consider wetting the ear buds lightly in the water before you place them in your ear, sometimes the water will keep them more secure in your ear. However, I have found the best way to keep them in your ear is to use a swab on the outside area of your ear briefly to get any oil or sweat where the buds are inserted (but not the ear canal). This always seems to work best and will ensure a tight fit. 3. When you insert them in your ear pull back the top of your ear with your opposite hand, that will stretch it and allow the ear canal to gently wrap snugly around the ear bud. It is rare when the water enters the ear canal if you take these three steps you can enjoy the music much better. Once water gets in your ear you are hosed for the rest of the swim and that goes for any ear piece. I also recommend using the Waterproof MP3 player from SEWOBYE with these as well for the best experience in listening to music while you swim. Now I have 3 waterproof earphones from Amazon past 3 weeks: two from Swimbuds (1st & 2nd Left on Photo 1), and one from H20 Audio (Middle one on Photo 1, and Photo 2 & 3) All 3 waterproof earphones sound quality is much much worse than the cheap earbud from old iPhone (2nd Left on Photo 1): Muddy high / mid frequency, almost none bass / low frequency. Out off 3 'waterproof earbuds', H2O one has slightly better sound quality, more comfortable to wear. But NONE of them I would recommend. I took my Shure SE535 to the swim (1st Right on Photo 1): it work perfect under water! So don't wast any your money to buy those poor sound quality 'waterproof' earphone. You will be surprise many 'normal' earbud DOES work underwater and much better quality sound! Update on 30th December 2019: After so sick with those poor sound quality so call 'waterproof earphone' as above, I bough a new Shure SE215 (photo 6) as my every day swimming earphone now, which is work PERFECT with very nice sound quality. As many people wouldn't spend that much money for a pair of earbud, so I order a pair of Creative EP-630 (Phone 4, $15.99) and Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-S (Silver, Photo 5, $7.84) from Amazon to took them for swim! As I expect they ALL work prefect with swimming! Out of 4 'normal' earbud, all work perfect under water. And provide much better sound quality in this order: SE535 > SE215 > EP-630 > RP-HJE120-S Happy New Year!

After 6 uses, one earphone failed completely. Three days later, it started working again and continues to work. I contacted H2OAudio and they responded within hours and sent me a new pair of earphones. I didn't open the package because the old ones were working again. To balance the situation, they gave me a coupon code for 25% off, and I "bought" the new pair from their website. They simply marked it "shipped" to account for the new pair I had and all is well. These are good headphones, for what they are. I use these all the time in the pool now and can report that they are waterproof (subject to the above), they stay in my ears without "goo" or anything else, and they sound just ok. I've tried one other pair and these are better than they are, but they're still just ok as far as sound goes. They are great for isolation and concentration to get a good workout though. Keeps the Social Swimmers out of my head.

I am quite the audiophile and own many high-end headphones like the Audeze LCDi4, JH Audio Layla custom IEM, and Sennheiser HD800 S for serious listening and the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless for gym workouts. Being that I have some sort of headphones playing music to my ears almost every waking minute, I decided I needed a good waterproof headphone for swimming laps at my local health club. I have the waterproofed iPod Shuffle and had some other waterproofed headphones but the sound quality was barely acceptable even for my drastically reduced expectations and it was constantly losing sound on one side after a few laps of swimming. So, I decided I needed a replacement and decided to give these H2O headphones a try. I figured that it couldn't possibly be worse than what I had been dealing with. Well, I have to say that these headphones definitely exceeded my expectations and this is from a bonafide audiophile who is extremely anal about sound quality. No, it does not compare to the Audeze LCDi4 in-ears or my custom-molded JH Audio IEM, but for $40 that takes the monotony out of swimming laps, it delivers excellent sound and has proven to be quite reliable. You're dealing with water and bubble noise so all audiophile sonic details will be lost anyway. You just want a good solid fundamental sound with a decent soundstage and that is what these headphones deliver. I primarily listen to classical music and having Chopin's Nocturnes or Brahms' piano concertos playing in my ears while swimming can be quite a blissful experience and it actually encourages me to swim longer and with more energy. I now swim 30~40 minutes non-stop while listening to music when I used to quit after 15~20 minutes due to the sheer tedium of swimming laps. So, yes, in effect, these headphones are actually making me healthier and I'm sure it'll do the same for many others. Highly recommended.

This is the second type of water ear buds I have purchased. While these are good quality and sound fine, even with the largest bud plug I still get water in my ear and eventually you can no longer hear the music. It starts off fine for a few laps but then as water seeps into and around my ear the music becomes very muffled and distant as if you're listening to another room behind walls. I wind up taking them out in frustration. At this point I don't want to blame it on the ear buds since another, totally different brand did the same thing. Not sure what to do.

i have been using the mp3 stream2 for I think 4 years now, think about that, i use this while swimming.it has lasted 4 years hello,Mcfly,anybody in there? the product is amazing, their support staff amazing, you truly are not very bright if you choose someone else's unproven product. when it comes to tearing up something i am king. buy yourself an H2o product that works for you and forget about it, you will be set for years

I L.O.V.E the sound quality of these, *absolutely amazing*. But for me, they hurt my ears really bad. It's the actual bud peice itself, it's a hard, pointy, plastic piece and it just sits wrong in my ear canal and even made a sore on the inside tip of my ear. I have small ears, so if you have bigger ear canals, it might not bother you. I changed the rubber piece that goes inside the ear and no water leaked in at all. But seriously, the sound is off the charts!! I can't hear the sounds of the water as I swim laps AT ALL. They are amazing, except for the hard plastic pointy piece thing that made my ear bleed and get a sore over a weeks of wear.

Haven't used them much but I think they'll be great no tangling.

So I’ve been using an underwater audio iPod shuffle with some cheap Chinese headphones for a few years but they would often leak and get muffled. Decided to give these a go even though they were fairly pricey. I would say they are worth the money. Sound is decent, loud and bassy. I opted for the largest ear buds which I have to twist and squeeze to get them right in but the material is nice and soft so there’s zero discomfort. Length of cable is spot on really, long enough so there’s no snagging but not too long so there’s loads of cable excess. Most importantly there has been no leaking whatsoever, really happy with that! If I had to criticise them at all I’d say that the jack plug would be better being one of those right angled ones as it protrudes quite far to one side and I feared that it flapping around may eventually lead to deterioration at the connector so I’ve anchored it to the goggles strap with a cable tie to limit potential wear and tear. Other than that a brilliant pair of headphones!

Qualità audio buona, materiali ottimi. Nonostante abbia provato tutti i possibili gommini, ogni tanto mi entra un po' d'acqua, specialmente in un oreggio. Ovviamente questione super personale che dipende dalla conformazione del mio orecchio
