Vikings Season 4 Volume 1 Dvd

I finished the entire season last night and I'm kind of sad it's over, but I am watching Vikings: Valhalla now, S01E01, so I'll have that to get into for a while. This season of Vikings was great, but they all were.

Excellent story, Action and direction. Love the war strategies in this series.Watched whole series 2 times as I love it so much.

So love this show!!! I never knew about it until the 4th season came out. When I found it, after watching the series 1, episode 1, my husband & I liked it so much that we binge watched episodes every time we could get free minute, all the way to the current one. This show has a little bit, or whole lot of, of everything that's fun, none of the same ol'-same ol'. You would think it's about nothing but fighting, which I was fine with, as long as there was a story, but no, this has so much story line to it that you genuinely can't stand waiting for the next episode...& even don't mind watching reruns because you're sure to miss something since it's so in depth & so interesting. You will find all kinds on action & battles, on the battlefield/seas & elsewhere (yes...they are Vikings after all); you'll find stories at all times almost of struggles with choosing, struggles with keeping, struggles with understanding, troubles with sharing, & ultimate battles over differences in faith, sometimes realizing that neither is as different from the other in regards to faith...that what means something either way is the faith part of it & sticking to your beliefs & your heart; you'll find beautiful love & romance stories, along with stories of family ties; you'll find plenty to laugh about, as even some of the not-so-good guys are pretty likable & funny at times; some witchery & supernatural related stuff, or hinting of it; & just so much more of a story line than you'd ever expect with a tv series, or Viking story. I honestly think any person could find something of interest on this show if you go back & watch it from the beginning. If you have kids around while you're watching, which I don't recommend unless they're absolutely not paying attention & you're watching intently, ready to fast forward & mute at all times, because there is not only sex scenes, they're Vikings, so they don't hesitate to invite friends into their bed & make it a group endeavor....in saying that though, usually the scenes don't last long, nor is there often very much "shown".

I was getting Vikings for free on iTunes/Comcast/Amazon Prime, but I never really had time to sit down and watch it. When I finally started, I couldn't stop and binge-watched Seasons 1-3. (I still didn't have the time, so now I'm just more sleep-deprived.) Alas, the current season as of this writing, Season 4, isn't free. What??? It's free (well, not really free; I still have to pay for the cable subscription) IF you watch it as it airs on The History Channel or soon after. (Both cable and history.com only let you see Vikings episodes within about a month of them airing, so if you want to see them, you have to go to iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, etc. and pay.) Unfortunately, I missed most of Season 4's broadcast airtimes (I just didn't know I'd enjoy watching this as much as I am) so if I wanted to watch from the beginning of this season, I'd have to bite the bullet and pay for the first few episodes. Let me tell you, it is definitely worthwhile! (Even my wife has gotten hooked--and we're not even watching it together.) Now I'm all caught up and in that irritable, impatient state of having to wait months for them to air Season 5. Ack! (At least I've read they renewed it for another season.) :-)TIP: Don't waste your money on a Season Pass. The current season is only 10 episodes, so it's cheaper to buy it by the episode. Even though Amazon (and iTunes and Vudu) only show the $2.99 HD option, if you look, you'll see there's also an SD option. I was only interested in satisfying my binge watching desires, so I just purchased the Standard Definition versions, which are $1.99/episode. I'll purchase the BD when it comes out.

I just love Vikings. I do confess. Yet when they announced that Vikings: Season 4 would be split into 2 parts, I was furious. Typically Hollywood trying to clean out their fans. And I wowed not to buy the fourth season until they released a full season.Obviously I didn't keep my wow. Unfortunately for my perseverance I came across a great deal on Amazon, offering season 4, part 1 at basically half price and I caved - much to my enjoyment. The show is still going strong and is still great fun to follow.At the end of season 3, Ragnar returns to his native Kattegat badly injured. His recovery is slow and difficult, so when a young chinese female prisoner offers him a drug, that could take away the pain plaguing him, he jumps at the chance. Only the drug - probably opium - causes an addiction, affecting his ability to reason.Ragnar decides to return to Paris, only to discover, that his brother Rollo has betrayed him, has become a christian, has married the emperors daughter and has wowed to protect Paris. When the two brothers clash, Ragnar is quite badly defeated - twice. He is forced to retreat, cursing his brothers name before all the gods. What we are witnessing is the creation of Normandy - more or less.So bad is Ragnars defeat, he feels unable to return to Kattegat and instead disappears completely for years. In his place, his wife assumes power, along with his oldest son Knuth. She and her sons are quite happy about Ragnar disappearance, while Knuth still miss his father. Then all of a sudden the world changes: Ragnar is back!T.T.

Excelente historia y buena calidad del dvd. Ahora solo estoy esperando el segundo volumen de la 4ta temporada, espero la pongan a la venta muy pronto y de preferencia doblada al español....la recomiendo ampliamente!
