Great tethers. I trust them.
Great tethers. I have several of these on my boat and have used them for a long time, personally and for crew. No issues. Well made. I trust them to keep my kids on board. 'nuff said.

Product works as I thought it would. First clip that releases, first time, without having to think about it and how to hold your hand. Only time will tell how well it works once I try it on the a boat at sea.

Delivery took a bit longer then anticipated, bit would not go solo-sailing without it. Retail price for this product was almost double the price I got it for on amazon.

Excellent tether!
I'm delighted with this. The clips are reassuringly difficult to release by accident, yet simple to release one-handed when intended. The quick release at the "human" end is reassuring too; I like knowing if the boat capsizes I can release quickly even under load. Just don't clip the far end that isn't attached to a hard point back to your harness, or the quick release won't be able to release you! The overload indication feature and the elastic nature of the tether straps are also excellent features.
