This cover is molded to the exact shape of your truck's dashboard, and mounts right over the top to cover cracks and holes. The cover requires no special tools to install, and mounts using silicone adhesive (included). The workmanship of the cover is warranted for life against cracking, warping, etc. Dash Skins even work great with large pieces of dash missing, as long as there is enough dashboard left on all edges (perimeter) to serve as a stable and level foundation for the cover. If you have cracks you will be covering, we advise cleaning your original dashboard well with industrial degreaser, and bracing any cracks using extra 100% silicone RTV adhesive to prevent further cracking or rattling. Is your vehicle's dashboard cracked, caved in, or generally falling apart? DashSkin is an American manufacturer of laser-precise molded plastic dashboard covers, designed to blend in and look like a factory dashboard. Don't spend thousands replacing your dash, install a DashSkin in just minutes and bring your dash back to life for good! DashSkin is a custom-molded cover that fits over your existing dashboard, covering up cracks, fading, and other damage. Made from a durable and long-lasting material, DashSkin is an affordable alternative to expensive dashboard replacements. It is easy to install, and can be done in a matter of minutes without any special tools or equipment. DashSkin is a revolutionary product that offers a quick and easy solution for restoring the look of your car's dashboard ## Features - Vehicle Fit: Fits 1997-1999 Chevy and GMC C/K 1500 pickups (Silverado, Cheyenne and Sierra trims), 1997-2000 C/K 2500 and 3500, 1997-1999 Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon, 2000 Tahoe and Suburban Limited and Z71, and 1999-2000 Cadillac Escalade - Hard Molded Plastic Dash Cover: Rigid ABS, formed to the exact shape of the original 1997-2000 GM full-size truck dash; installs over your cracked dash to hide cracks and holes. Listing photos include a trim code guide showing how to confirm the right color before ordering. This is a dash cover, not a replacement dash pad - Easy Installation: Clean the dash, apply the included adhesive, set the cover and let it cure; no special tools, about an hour - What's Included: One 4.7 oz tube of flexible adhesive and a vehicle-specific installation guide. The cover bonds to your existing dash, so the dash perimeter must be intact - Made in the USA: Factory-matched color and grain, molded from UV-resistant ABS, backed by a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Older dashes fade unevenly, so the cover may be slightly lighter or darker than your original ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B008MF3T94 | | Best Sellers Rank | #111,580 in Automotive (See Top 100 in Automotive) #225 in Interior Dash Covers | | Brand | DashSkin | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (888) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Date First Available | March 6, 2018 | | Item Model Number | 9700GM-Black | | Item Weight | 11 pounds | | Manufacturer | DashSkin | | Manufacturer Part Number | 9700GM-Black | | Product Dimensions | 61 x 14 x 16 inches | ## Images ![Dash Cover for 97-99 Chevy GMC C/K Tahoe Suburban, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YdCAASgyL.jpg) ![Dash Cover for 97-99 Chevy GMC C/K Tahoe Suburban, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ocrK7Gr6L.jpg) ![Dash Cover for 97-99 Chevy GMC C/K Tahoe Suburban, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ziV8z48CL.jpg) ![Dash Cover for 97-99 Chevy GMC C/K Tahoe Suburban, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Bq6F-1GcL.jpg) ![Dash Cover for 97-99 Chevy GMC C/K Tahoe Suburban, Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81p52+m8iWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: do this dash cover come in light grey?** A: This medium gray is the only shade of gray this model comes in but it is should match if you have the factory gray in your vehicle. **Q: Is this just a cover? Like it just clamps on over old? or have to remove the whole dashboard?** A: Hello, Please be sure to read the info in the listing as we explain in detail how the cover works there, this is not a dashboard replacement, it installs over your dash (cannot be used as a replacement part) **Q: Will this tan color match the orginal factory color for a 1997 gmc sierra sle k1500?** A: Hello, yes, this color is matched based on the original factory color, but please bear in mind that since these trucks are 20+ years old we can never guarantee an exact match.
