Why are you charging $80 for a camera with an msrp of $29?

This product was $29. for "many years" on the Ubiquiti Store site until just a few weeks ago then went up in cost $29. to $79. with zero technical improvements - I can see an increase of 10% a year maybe 20% max but this type of $50. increase causes disloyalty. Was Ubiquiti undercharging for years or has new management taken over and decided to rip the consumer? Not sure but I'm certain there is more $ surprises to come from Ubiquiti.

Will i be able to see video even if i am outside of my wifi? in other words, would i be able to check my home when i am at work?

Yes you will be available to view the camera from outside the home network. The camera can be viewed from the app Unifi Protect. You will however need an NVR for the camera to communicate to. The UI Cloud Key Gen II has the NVR capability and is the cheapest way to get going. If you are wanting to use this camera it does work great but it does require additonal equipment.
