VIVOSUN Highly Reflective Mylar Film Roll 4FT x 100FT for Outdoor Grow Room

This VIVOSUN Mylar film is fantastic! I was a little worried about the thickness, but it's perfect—not too flimsy, but still thick enough that it feels durable and won't rip easily. Cutting it to shape was a breeze, which made my little project so much easier. I'm using it to grow some cactus seeds and it's working great. The reflective material does an amazing job of bouncing light back onto the seedlings, and it definitely helps with heat retention. The best part, though, is that you can see through it just enough to check on everything without having to take it down. Plus, it's a great way to keep my nosy neighbors from thinking I'm running some kind of illegal grow operation instead of just pursuing my hobby! Highly recommend it.

This item was used to reflect the sun light. WORKS GREAT. be careful it also reflects the heat. Almost started a fire. But is fantastic for what i needed it for.

Great material if you are looking for a durable metallic film. I bought it to make a photo booth for my child’s Bat Mitzvah and it worked amazing!!! . Does not tear apart like the space blankets, it can be wrinkled without being messy and the price is reasonable for 100 feel! Highly recommend

I am very pleased with this new mylar film roll. I am even more pleased in the level of service I received from VIVOSUN. Well done! ________________________________________ (Previous Review): I am pretty happy with this Mylar film. Didn't experience any streaking, but I did notice that it is easy to create streaking/scratches if you are not careful. You will want to take care to unroll the film on a clean smooth surface; any abrasion may leave streaks/scratches easily. It is pretty thin (only 2 mil. thick), but it is surprisingly durable. I used a staple gun to hang some sheets. Even after some serious tugging/pulling, even stepping on the bottom, the film didn't tear or come loose -- there was some streaking/scratcges though with minimal contact. This film is not forgiving when it comes to scratches. I will say it is very reflective. Although, It is translucent. You can clearly see what is on the other-side, when looking into a lit room, from a dark room. It is comparable to some serious limo tint. 1 layer thick and it block almost all the light from coming through. But again, it is possible to see through it. This film is also very rigged. It doesn't fold well, it wants to retain its original shape -- but it does wrinkle without too much difficulty. Makes it a little difficult to double up. Honestly, not much light penetrates using a single layer though. This film would be much better with a black poly backing. I would recommend this to a friend as a cheap option for Mylar film. However, I would heavily suggest substituting the 7 mil version instead.

Material thickness it is 2 ply and is actually wonderful we lined our basement walls and did a beautiful Pond and house plant Sanctuary for the turtles great reflectiveness it's easiest to use heat retention it's all right but the quantity in size for the money I mean it's a no-brainer if you need to reflect light get it

Perfect for putting behind my grow lights on a shelf, and blocking 98% or so of light from going outside! I was worried about durability/ not being reflective enough, but it exceeded my expectations. It is very thin/ light, but inside it looks like a slightly distorted mirror (because it's not perfectly straight). It might be slightly less bright than an actual mirror though, but I wasn't looking for a perfect mirror. At night, before my grow lights were lighting up the entire backyard. Now with this behind them, you can barely see through the film at night unless a couple feet away (all I have int he room are the plants, so no need to close the blinds)! If you're looking for a near (but not perfect) mirror surface, that's light, thin, and durable enough for how thin it is (I accidentally rubbed it against the metal shelf, and the surface didn't rub off), then this is great! NOTE: One side is much more reflective than the other (like one is 80% vs. 98% looking). The inside of my roll looks like a mirror, whereas the outside looks closer to aluminum foils reflectiveness. So make sure you pick the mirror finish for reflecting light!

Used to make DIY grow tent and it worked great! For the price, it was worth it to buy the 100ft roll to have extra for other projects or if I tear this tent down I can rebuild. Very reflective on both sides and strong but easy to cut with sharp knife or scissors. Good if you don't want to spend money on expensive grow tent and don't mind constructing one with cardboard and tape. Easier with 2 people to work with in large parts to avoid accidental creasing but it is very resilient to creasing in general.

This film works great as a reflective coating. Great quality and provides a near flawless and even reflective surface for things like grow rooms. One word of caution, however, is that light passes through it. So, if you also want to use it to block light and make a bucket opaque, for example, it will not work at all. I'm not sure how something can be 95%+ reflective (or whatever the spec is), and yet allow light to pass through, but it does. For most applications and people, however, this won't matter per its intended applications.

The girls love it! Its a great product! Very reflective! Yes it does scratch and doesn't wipe well, but for the money you pay... You really can't complain. Its a great alternative to buying a tent if you have a room you can well ventilate. I bought the 100ft roll to use maybe 20 ft because I did read the reviews and some say it did scratch so I figured buy more then enough and just replace it if need be. I've been using it for about 2 months, I have replaced the mylar once due to my reflector swinging a little bit but as soon as I fixed it I changed the mylar and problem solved. Overall a great product, could not be happier. Also I used staples and if to tight will cause it to rip.
