Metatarsal Foot Pads - Gel Ball of Foot Cushions for Pain Relief

I travel a lot for work out of Florida, so I’m in and out of sneakers, flats, and sometimes heels if I have to clean up for a meeting. My feet were killing me by day two of any trip. I picked up the Homergy Metatarsal Foot Pads because I needed something thin I could toss in different shoes. Here’s what actually happened after a month of using them. I wear these pretty much daily now. They’re a soft silicone gel sleeve with a little pad right under the ball of the foot. You slide them on like a tiny sock over your forefoot, so there’s no adhesive to mess with. That “stays in place” part is legit for me — they don’t bunch up or roll down into my shoes, even after airport days walking 10k+ steps. The ultra-thin part matters too. I can get them into my flats and even some heels without my toes going numb, which I couldn’t do with thicker stick-on pads I tried before. What I liked Pain relief is real: The gel takes pressure off the ball of my foot. Standing in line at TSA or on convention floors doesn’t leave me wincing anymore. A lot of other buyers say the same — “total relief” keeps coming up. Actually stays put: Because it’s a sleeve, not a sticky pad, it doesn’t migrate by noon. I’ve had adhesive ones peel off or get gunky after two wears. These I just rinse and air dry. Breathable & reusable: No sweaty plastic feel. I’ve washed them maybe 10 times and they’re still the same shape. For $12.95 for 2 pairs you’re at about $3.24 per pad, and I haven’t had to replace them yet. Works in most shoes: I’ve used them in sneakers, loafers, and low heels. The one-size sleeve fits my women’s 8.5 fine, and the brand says it covers about 95% of feet. What’s not perfect: Takes a day to get used to: The first time I felt like there was a “lump” under my foot. After a few hours I stopped noticing it, but if you’re sensitive to anything in your shoe, heads up. Some people report that same feeling with metatarsal pads generally. No arch support: These only cushion the ball of the foot. If your pain is heels or arches, you’ll need something else. Sizing isn’t custom: The sleeve is stretchy but if you have really narrow or really wide feet, placement might feel slightly off. I have to tug mine forward a bit in pointy flats. Value for money At around $12-$13 for two pairs, with coupons sometimes dropping it to $11, it’s cheap compared to custom orthotics or even the $20+ stick-on multi-packs that only last a few wears. I’ve gotten a month of daily use and they’re still going, so cost-per-wear is pennies at this point. For me that’s solid value. Real-world uses where they helped Travel days: Orlando to Denver, then standing at a trade show. No burning forefoot pain by 3pm. Theme parks: Did a full day at a park in sneakers — usually I’m done after 4 hours. Made it 9. Heels for dinners: I can actually wear 2-inch heels now without wanting to go barefoot under the table. The thin gel doesn’t crowd my toes. Running errands in flats: My everyday leather flats have zero padding. These make them bearable. Who probably shouldn’t buy them If you need heavy-duty correction for neuroma or you hated the “lump” feeling from other metatarsal pads, you might not love these. And they won’t help heel spurs. Overall, for simple ball-of-foot pain and travel, they do what they say without the hassle of adhesives. I bought a second set to keep one pair in my suitcase.

These shift throughout the day and do not stay on the area where put them on. Also they tear easily after i get home to take them off, I noticed it ripped!

I find these super helpful because they keep another pad that I wear from sliding sideways. I tried them alone, but they weren't thick enough and I found the waffle weave on the bottom of my foot uncomfortable. Also the toe tabs need to be thicker as they break easily. One broke on the first day. Recommend fixing that weakness.

They make your feet feel really good. They don't stay smoothly on your feet, they will bunch up in your sock. So, you can't really wear them all day. BUT I have to say they really do feel good on the feet. So, understand that they won't stay perfectly smooth on your feet when you wear them. I would say to wear around the house to make your feet feel better is a great idea. So, they are not the perfect answer, but they really relieve the pain and pressure in your feet while you wear them. I would buy them again just to relieve my feet at home. They should make them about 3 " longer, maybe they would stay on better. Hope this helps you decide.

As someone who spends long hours on my feet (hello, mom life + work hustle!), these Homergy Metatarsal Foot Pads have been a total game-changer. I was skeptical at first, but WOW — they really deliver on comfort and pain relief. The gel is super soft, and the air holes are a brilliant touch. My feet used to feel hot and swollen by midday, but the breathable design makes a huge difference, especially in sneakers or even sandals. I love that they fit discreetly under all types of shoes — from boots to ballet flats — and actually stay in place without slipping around. Cleaning is super easy — just a quick rinse with warm water and soap, and they look brand new. Plus, the quality feels premium — not flimsy or cheap like some other pads I’ve tried in the past. I can go about my day — chasing kids, running errands, even dancing around during playtime — without constantly thinking about how bad my feet hurt. If you’re someone who’s on your feet a lot or suffers from forefoot pain, these are absolutely worth a try. Just a heads up: don’t return them after using — it’s in the instructions (and makes total sense). But honestly, you’ll probably end up keeping them like I did. 🙌 Highly recommend for anyone looking for real, lasting relief!

They were nice for maybe an hour. They roll out of place at times and they get dirty eventually but do not clean well

I have been wearing them every day for about 4 days. I have a little difficulty when putting my socks on over them and when putting my shoes on because of the extra bulk. But they are not bulky. I manage to slide my socks and then slide my shoes and they stay put. They cushion the ball of my feet where I have arthritis and walking is painful. So they do help a little. Very happy with my purchase! I am adding a comment to my earlier review of about 2 weeks ago. I have been wearing them almost consistently now for about 2 weeks. Yesterday one of the straps broke, even tough I am very careful when I take them of. I have skinny fee 7AA so the with of my feet is not an issue. I guess the issue is the wear and tear. As I said I have been wearing them almost everyday during the day. So I am not very happy with my purchase anymore… 😌

These are comfortable to wear in shoes. Easy to put on and stays put. Didn't help with my problem, but it could have prevented it. To decrease the pressure on the balls of my feet
