The lid will be slightly stiff when opening, to provide an effective seal. When you close it, listen for the click to ensure it is closed properly. This is a game changer! Only received yesterday at my door within 24 hours of ordering. Already had so much use! My daughter who is 3 next month instantly loved it. It's super light and small and she loves to carry it. My 1st thought was that it's really small and it might be difficult to use. Nope I was wrong. My daughter can easily open it herself and sit down and do her business. She loves it. It's a great size.We have already been out and about for the day and it was so handy! She is too small to use the public toilets and I don't like her touching everything. This is brilliant to take around and quickly use in the restrooms. Brilliant for toilet training toddlers.
