I bought these because I needed something to use while out, but didn't want something wireless as I have enough of those and they can be in a pain (specifically I have to keep them charged all the time). I also have problems with plain ear buds as they never quite fit, and one falls out, then the other and repeat... in order to get them to stay, I feel like I have to shove them up half way into my ear canal and that never feels good. I like the additional tips for these, I changed the right one to the smaller size (that's the ear I always have problems with), and now both will stay in quite comfortably. Why a 4 and not a 5? Two reasons: 1) Lack of volume controls. Not a huge deal since it's wired to the phone anyways, but it would be nice to be able to adjust that without pulling out the phone, especially if I am biking or kayaking at the time. 2) The ear bud tips and wings are single piece construction. While different sizes came with the headphones, because of how my right ear is shaped, I need the medium wing but a smaller bud tip. Overall, I am happy with them. Appreciate the carrying case that came with them too.
