Here are the recommended steps to take when using De La Cruz 10% Sulfur Ointment Acne Medication:                                                                                                                         
1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying.                                                                     
2. Apply a thin layer over your face, back or the affected area.
3. Wait 10-20 minutes.
4. Wash off with warm water. 
A consistent daily regimen will ensure the best results. 
Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two to three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. 
If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
