I personally like this hat. Just today I was out in 15 degree weather for 30 minutes and it kept my head and ears very warm. The material is soft and the inside is completely lined. Upon taking it out of the package it did have a smell to it from being in a sealed plastic bag. I left it sitting out for 24 hours and the smell completely disappeared. My head measurement is 7-1/8 long oval and this hat fits really well with a little room to spare. I would definitely buy again.
