Playtex Women's 18 Hour Comfort Shaping Full Coverage Bra US4609

I am a teacher and comfort is very important to me, especially when I have to be presentably dressed, yet physically flexible and modest at the same time, for 12-14 hours a day. After being unable to find the style and model of bra I had worn for years (isn't that always the way it goes??), out of desperation I opted to purchase one of these bras a couple years ago. It fits well, has good lift without making me feel ridiculous, is nicely finished (no rough edges/seams), and has comfortable straps. I kind of kept this bra aside as my "Sunday bra" - you know...the "good" one you keep for special occasions. However, when I began working full time again last year, I began to slip it into the weekly "rotation" and realized how much more comfortable it was than my other (more expensive and hard to find, but slowly fading) bras! After two years of semi-regular wear (and laundering), this bra has held its shape, has NOT stretched out in either the straps or the hook section (which often is the first to succumb to wear and tear), and truly is comfortable round the clock. The band does not roll (despite the fact I have put on some weight in that area) and the material is pretty, but not flimsy; substantial, but not stiff - so there is good coverage in the "headlight" area. Needless to say, I have now invested in more of this bra for regular wear.As always, I appreciate the ease and availability Amazon offers - not to mention the great price.

This bra fits accurately for cup size, but I rated the fit as small because the straps are a bit short. I am 5'7" and I find that I could do with an additional inch or two play in the straps. I found that the bra was on the verge of riding up the bottom of my breasts when the straps are fully extended. I have encountered this before with Playtex bra's, which is a shame because I love their products otherwise. I recommend that women who are 5'7" or taller try on this brand in the store before ordering to be sure the straps will be comfortable.That said, for average and short women this is a very comfortable bra. It is wire free, and provides plenty of support. I bought it because I just had a baby and was looking for something without underwire, which is a feature I do not like when nursing. If it had longer straps I would have given it five stars.

This is the first bra that I've ever bought without trying on first. The reviews on this bra helped me decide so thank you to all who write reviews!This bra is exactly the quality and size you expect from all other Playtex bras. I went to the Playtex website for sizing but the size it would have me wear would be way to big so I don't understand the reviewer that suggested doing that. I simply looked at the size I wear in other Playtex bras and ordered the same size and it fits perfectly. At first I thought I might need a bigger size however I put a shirt on over the bra and realized that the bra has to be a little snug to hold the breasts in position without wires.This bra is very comfortable and supportive! It actually is the best support I have found in a bra that does not have under wires! I'm very happy with this bra and will be ordering another one or two in the future!

Wow !! Playtex did it again . Another great bra . I like this style of Playtex bra 4609 . It has a sling on the side and bottom of the bra cup . So I thinking this is why it supports better . Firm support . And comfortable . Pretty design on bra cup and straps . Feels like your not wearing a bra yet your supported . Its heaven . I'm a chesty women 38 DD ,so if it can support my bust well it can support anyone . I recommend this bra .

I'm giving a 4 because it's comfortable, had a fair price, along with a great shipping experience. Everything was great but the cup size. It was baggy at the top of the cup no matter how I adjusted the straps and back. Also, the overall cup fit made the breast shape pointed which Im not a fan of. Thats more personal preference but something I wanted to add.

these are great. I had to get something for changing shape with pregnancy, and these worked great Wide straps, comfortable fit. Have had them for a few months now and still looking new. The cups are your normal thinner material (not super thin to not provide support or show too much, but if you like a layer of padding at all, these don't really have that). however, super comfy, will buy again hands down

I used to love this bra and was so happy to find it on Amazon. The problem is that while it is the same bra as far as fit, the stitching is done with plastic thread and it pinches all around the trunk. I had to take all the plastic thread out and re-stitch it with normal thread--not fun but I wanted to be able to wear them if possible. The first one I wore, I ended up with like pin pricks all around my chest and back and it was itchy!!! Too bad. I guess I need to search for another bra that is as comfy as these were. I am NOT willing to re-stitch every bra I buy.
