Digitally augmented sound quality is fantastic for listening to hearts and lungs...or whatever else you want to. Eko app works to record A/V details of the investigations and keeps records of each person separate. A trainer we know had one of these and one of our guys thought it would be a great idea for those who might use a stethoscope in our situation. I don't but others in the team do and I bought this one for one of them as a birthday gift. It doesn't get a huge amount of use in our environment but when it has the amplification and ability to review what has been heard has been brilliant. Since then another team member has got one and both use theirs in their day jobs on wards and in the ambulance service as well as when doing other medical event work. Game changer.If I have a grumble it’s that the app is quite quiet on the phone when playing back sounds as clearly designed for headphones so if developers would tweak that then I would be forced to admit they had the perfect teaching aid.
