Though not real leather, it's very soft, attractive, well-sewn. It has an extra slot, which I use for my passport card (good only for travel to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean), as well as a business card, in case of loss. There is also another larger divider for tickets, boarding passes, receipts, etc.. I also like the elastic strap on the right side, insuring the passport is secure, and doesn't fall out. You can either slide it around the entire outside, to keep the both sides completely closed, or just around the passport itself, and the back panel. All things considered, this is a really good product, and a great value, at a very reasonable price.
