Affordable light with cool effects!
As a wedding DJ, I'm always looking for new lights to add to my lighting setup. This light is a nice addition! I went with the metal shell version since I am generally at different locations every weekend, I wanted one that was solid, versus the plastic version. The light has cool patterns, lighting effects, is compact, and easy to use. Where it's a smaller light, it doesn't take up much space on my truss but provides a lot of coverage with lighting.The cord that it comes with is an extra long cord and as a DJ who has bought and used many lights, having a long cord on any dance light is a huge plus! The remote is a nice, quality remote that almost feels like a TV remote with its design. The only "negative" thing that I would say about the light is that you have to be in front of the light for the remote to work. If you stand behind the light with the light facing away from you, the light doesn't pick up on the remote signal. This is a small issue (and I've experienced this with other lights too) but I thought I'd mention it for those buying the light thinking that their remote doesn't work...it does, you just have to stand in front of the light to turn it on, select features, etc. However, at less than $50, I'm happy with this light and look forward to continually using it!

Amazing! I used this for a glow birthday party. For a large area it definitely impressed me. Worth the buy!

Doesn’t work well
It keeps resetting every few seconds which creates an annoying flickering effect. If that isn’t bad enough it often stops after few minutes and I have to use the remote to wake it up. I have not had the chance to use it around people because it came like this out of the box. Do not buy this.
