Venetian Bronze Finish Cast Iron Spoon Rest, 8 Inch

I'm crazy into cast iron and I'm currently undergoing redecorating my house with everything rustic and cast iron. I came across this for the kitchen since the kitchen is the area I'm currently working on. When I got it in person it was even better than I dreamed! It has a beautiful shine and finish and it's a heavy product. I also love that it has a protective stopper backing on the bottom of it so it doesn't slide all over the place on your stove! It's incredibly sturdy and strong and it will hold any utensil that you need it to. Definitely worth purchasing I would highly recommend it!

So I bought this spoon rest to replace one I used to have that was identical to this that I had purchased at Target a few years ago. And guess what folks? That's EXACTLY what this is. The color is definitively black and nothing close to bronze in any way, so don't let the name fool you. It's a great spoon rest though. Solid, heavy, easy to clean. But just be aware it is not made by Anchor Hocking as advertised. It's a Threshold product made by Target. They just put a white sticker over the Threshold name on the front and over Target's info on the back. But I peeled it off the back so you can see in the pictures. I wouldn't say it's false advertising but just be aware you are paying an increased price for a spoon rest that they used to sell at Target for less. I still like the spoon rest.

I got this because I have the matching utensil caddy. I love the coated cast iron; it's hefty but easy to clean. Basically, this is in constant use in my kitchen. I've been thinking about getting a second one because I do really cook that much. There is nothing cheap or flimsy about this spoon rest and I love it.

Works exactly as expected. It is a heavy spoon rest and I put it through the dishwasher regularly with no problem.

Beautiful spoon rest. Has a padded bottom as well. I've had it for 6-9 months so far and it hasn't chipped. I haven't had any issues with it.

This product was very poor quality it cost me &15.98 & I had to pay $11.20 to return it. I will never buy from a 3rd party vendor thru Amazon again. This lowered my opinion of Amazon.
