how low is the seat? will it work for a desk?

Can anyone tell how to assemble instructions were left out

You just screw in the legs and put those bolts in the holes on the back to connect both pieces. It comes with a small hardware package that includes bolts, legs, and I believe one hex key.

What’s the trick for sliding the back of the chair onto the seat? The left rail keeps popping out.

Flip it horizontally and use something to hold it up level while you put the center screw first. Then do the other screws. I used a large toolbox.
