ALOT more vibrant in person!, I personally unlike the rest who talk about thin material don't think it's that thin, it feels like the same good material my bathing suit from Walmart that has held up just fine for a year. The zipper is SO secretive in a good way! I almost couldn't find it!! I thought I'd have to try and fit it in from where the legs go in at. But when I did find it and open it, it was a very LARGE pocket!(As you can see in the 4th and fifth photo) :3 could possibly fit as big as a mertailor monofin, or silicone monofin. I'm currently waiting on my monofin to come in so I cannot show in the photos unfortunately. But I promise the fluke is HUGE if you're looking for long flukes or extra fins this is the tail. The reviews made me upsize, I'm a 4'11, under or 120lbs girl. Small hips but thunderthighs A size small in pants. so I got a medium instead of a small, the medium was a bit loose around the waist not going to lie. So I would definitely try and get your measurements instead of guessing like I did. The drawstring is definitely unsafe incase of needed emergency release. But it definitely does secure it in place comfortably. The top did it fit. Wouldn't recommend swimming with the top as it feels like it might break, it's a cute top but not for me. For 30$ I have to admit this is a great tail for it's price!:3

I purchased this tail to complete a mermaid costume I made and sure was glad I paid attention to the size chart and other reviews! It is nice quality fabric, vivid color and a good quality, but I had to order sz XL to fit my size 6 body- 28 waist 36 hips 5'5" tall 130 lbs. Also, it is nearly impossible to walk in this tail- even with the zipper unzipped and feet out of the lower part. It is designed for swimmimg with the swim fins in the set, but I think I would feel claustaphobic with my legs bound in this tail. Ideal if you are comfortable swimming in this or if you want to use this as a cotume to pose for pictures. Overall, pleased with my tail.

Runs small: my waist is a size small to medium and my butt is an XL. This tail is longer than my first tail but it is definitely far smaller. The XL tail fits like a large on me and I could not pull the tail all the way up my size medium/small waist. The fabric pills a lot: after my first swim in it (as seen above) it was already pilling and it continued after washing. Also the unstretched fabric where the fins are had seems that tore after use or maybe were not backstitched when made. Nothing my 23 years of sewing experience can't fix myself just a bummer it came that way. I LOVE: how thick the fabric is and the color is vibrant still, regardless of it's poor quality. The length of it is fantastic. The extra fins and dorsal are so cute! Fantastic for photos. I got this tail as a spare it's just uncomfortably tight to be a believable XL on me who has a small to XL waist to hip body measurement.

The tail was the perfect big girl mermaid tail for my daughter. She grew out of her little girl tails last summer. The issue now is that she's thin and tall. She's 11 y.o., has a 25inch waist and 5'4 almost 5'5 tall. So she needs an adult size for the length but the waist can often be too big. There being a drawstring inside was a relief. It gave have her the perfect fit. She was comfortable wearing it to her 1st Mermaid Pod gathering. And she received a lot of compliments.

The fin design isn’t great. The tail came with a popped seam. When I was swimming in it the seam kept popping. The fin was so uncomfortable it kept rubbing against the arch of my foot and gave me a rash. The table was beautiful but uncomfortable. Plus for $80 you would expect something better. Do not get this tail!

I like this tail. Seemed like good quality for an affordable price. Colors were pretty. Size up. Way...up! I love it though. Can't wait to pack it for my Mexico trip in July and do my own little photo shoot on the beach and pool! Edit: Just came back from vacation. This mermaid tail was great! Strong, good quality, vibrant colors! I enjoyed it wearing it.

The material is thin for a tail but still a decent thickness. I am usually xs-s and I got a medium, which was a bit loose, but it was fine. I used a Linden Bodyglove kid's folding monofin, and it is very small compared to the fluke, which is actually huge. I was worried that due to the small size of my monofin that I would need more support in the fluke, by using a vinyl insert. But the tail skin is pleasantly flowy and floppy with just a small monofin, 70% of the fluke is just flowing fabric. Poor print quality and stitching, I don't expect it to last forever, but for a large-fluke mermaid tail the price was excellent! It's quite heavy with a lot of drag, so be prepared. I love the dorsal fin and the colors. It's excellent fun to wear, but PLEASE BE AWARE THIS TAIL COPIED FINFOLK, a reputable tail brand. I was not aware of this until after purchase, so be aware you might be supporting something unethical.

This didn’t look anything like the tail On the picture and I’ve had to have it adjusted because it is just bikini material The tail has to be filled with something to make it stand out properly not what I was expecting

Mostly this fin is good, I read the reviews and ordered a size up. now it is miles too big, the fin is very flimsy and weak, but as expected I added another layer of vinyl to make it stronger. my mermaid was exhausted after a few minutes of swimming in the pool
