It may lighten color after the second or 3rd try... which means you would have to dye the hair once a month for 3 months **Q: Is there a number to indicate which colors have the red tones to it?** A: Ok. I noticed that when I was looking at the chestnut brown(apparently now aka golden macadamia for some reason)I scrolled down the page to find out what the deal was with the conundrum I'm having with this bi-named color and found a sort of menu that tells you about the black to red and red to blonde colors and numbers. The colors have been so pretty every time. When I’m rinsing it out, hardly any color is running out -so, kind of tells me the color is sticking good to the hair, too. Just rinsing out the color, alone, my hair is already so soft and silky- like, I don’t even need conditioner bc it’s so easy to run my fingers through. But, the conditioner in the box is so amazing, itself. It also comes with a pre-color serum to put on your ends before you dye and I believe that stuff works wonders.
