This 50ft cable ran my JVC NZ800/MadVR setup no problem. No signals lost at any point. The cable did fail, but I submit a warranty claim and it was immediately satisfied. The customer service was shockingly fast. I also submit a claim for the wrong cable and that was sent to me (my mistake). I emailed them back, they pointed out how I made the mistake (they were right), and then sent me the 50ft cable. It all happened within a single week. It was exactly how I imagine all company's should be handling these claims.

I ordered this cable to run my PC to my LG TV after I was having issues with my standard HDMI performing when gaming. This cable solved it immediately. However, about 6 months in, it stopped working. Testing with other cables confirmed the cable failed. Fortunately, their customer service is excellent and they had a replacement to me within 2 days. That kind of customer service and replacement policy is what will keep me coming back as a customer. 10/10 recommend.

I bought this RuiPro 8K fiber HDMI cable expecting a reliable long-run solution for my home theater. Instead, it failed after barely two months of use. I installed it carefully between my AV processor and 4K projector, and it immediately caused random audio and video dropouts. The signal would disappear, the processor would lose its surround-sound lock, and the entire HDMI handshake would collapse several times during a movie. I spent hours troubleshooting and verified the issue wasn’t the projector, the receiver, or the source devices. Replacing this cable with an older (2009) 25ft copper HDMI cable completely fixed the problem, which confirmed the RuiPro cable was the weak link. For something at this price point, it shouldn’t fail this quickly or behave this inconsistently. If you’re running a projector or any long HDMI connection, look elsewhere. This cable was a disappointment and absolutely not worth the headache.

Finally received the product. It has drastically increased the quality of everything we watched. I had no idea there was texture on the "Stranger Things" lettering in the opening credits! The cables are directional for video, and allow for eARC so audio will travel both directions on the cable. The wire sheathing feels sturdy and is thin which is ideal as it doesn't take up much space in my stereo cabinet. Unlike the cables I was replacing which were ultra thick with baluns, then are slim. The HDMI connectors are well made and fit snug in their porta, be it the cable box, splitter, receiver, Fire TV, or Samsung TV. On the old cables the best I'd get out of my Fire TV was "UHD" now it shows "3840x2160 4k 60p" and the quality is night and day better. The audio also sounds clearer and is louder and comes through with more encoding to my receiver, like "Atmos", never seen that before. So glad I found these from the AVSForum because I was really at a loss of what to buy. I've been burned by the monster HDMI cables of yesteryear. These really are great HDMI cables. I've since changed all of mine over to these. Totally worth the cost. Original review: So far, Ive only opened the Amazon delivery boxes and one of the packages was clearly a return, no plastic shrink wrap. Inside the box was a motherboard anti-static bag, a cable tie and some foam straps. No HDMI cable. So while the description states it comes with an HDMI cable, be warned they may not. For this price point, I expected better. I'll update my review if things change.

I'm actually writing this review 4 years later. The cable worked well for 4 years (make sure during the initial install that the source and display ends are correctly matched otherwise it won't work), but then one day it suddenly stopped working. I sent an e-mail to customer support and shared with them my trouble-shooting steps, and 4 days later I received a new working cable replacement. Their customer support and warranty is amazing, highly recommend

Purchase the CL2 (in wall rated) 65ft version in September 2021 for AV install in our home where we have AV closet about 55ft from TV. Distance is longer than recommended for traditional HDMI, so this seemed to fit the bill for our needs. Worked great for several years after install (using Yamaha receiver and Samsung 4k TV). Used CL2 as the HDMI goes in wall from AV closet to crawl space and then in wall to rear of TV. About three months ago we began to experience HDMI not connecting to TV from receiver (TV did nto detect source) when components were turned on. Would need to hard power cycle receiver to regain connection. This began happening more frequently the past two weeks, until we no longer could establish a connection between receiver and TV. Tested TV and receiver by pulling receiver from closet and moving to TV and used a standard 25ft HDMI and the connection was fine. So, the issue is this cable. Just contacted the manufacturer for warranty replacement as they calim 5 year and still in that window. I intentionally routed the cable via conduit in the walls of AV closet and TV as I was worried about longevity. So although they claim CL2 rating, I'd advise having a plan/design to replace these cables when they die and for future upgradability. knocked three starts b/c of short lifespan. We'll see if they are good on warranty. Maybe pure fiber MPO with HDMI extenders is the way to go for near permanent, long term solution. Update 2/11/25 After multiple emails to Ruipro (both sales and support adresses) with Amazon sale invoice, they have failed to fulfill and honor 5 year warranty. They do not have a voice number so only option is email. The first I did receive a cryptic reply a week after sending about customer emails going to spam. Then no responses with three additional email follow up about claim status. Suffice to say I cannot wait anylonger to replace the cable and went HDbaseT route and will never purchase another wire from this company again. Revised to 1 star only for fact that cable did work for three years, but zero warranty support or customer service. Update 2/17/25 Ruipro reached out to my original email a day or so after my 2/11 update and indicated they had not received any of my follow up emails. Assume the reply was in response to my 2/11 update. Used my alternate email to provide shipping and they did respond and sent a replacement cable (rec 2/17). So they did honor warranty claim and adjusting review.

I was experiencing some signal lock and delay issues with the first cable 33 feet Ruipro I bought here through Amazon. I tried three different media players, same thing. I don’t have the same issue with my other regular, non-fiber optic, certified HDMI 2.1 cable. I was going to return it to Amazon but decided to reach out to Ruipro’s customer first. I reached out to them by email explaining my issue in detail. Ruipro rushed a new replacement cable with expedited delivery. What a service!! I am happy to report that I have no issues with the new cable. Passed the Dolby Vision test from my receiver and Apple TV 4K. I noticed more color fidelity/pop with this new fiber cable vs the old copper cable, particularly noticeable in HDR and DV material giving it a three-dimensional feel, buy YMMV based on your source and display quality. I use this with a JVC projector in a dedicated bat cave theater. So far so good but I will keep testing for a few days more before running the cable through the attic.

Awesome Hybrid Optical 2.1 8k HDMI cables. Bought two 15' and the EDID and CEC are perfect, so is clock timming for eARC. These cables are CL2 rated for NEC in wall fire complaince and worth the price. They also have a lifetime warranty. I had tried 12' name brand copper cables but 12' is two long for HDMI 2.1 and had major issues with both eARC and video. 9' or 10' is the max for copper cables. Don't skimp on cheap brands, go with RUIPRO.

I bought this cable to connect my PC to my LG C3 tv. I needed an HDMI 2.1 cable with enough length to reach my tv and provide stable image quality at 4k 120hz. The cable worked perfectly but over a couple years I started to notice some intermittent artifacting. I thought I’d check with RUIPRO to see if they knew what the issue was. They took my feedback and shipped me a new replacement with no questions asked and at no cost to me… 2 years after my initial order. I installed the new cable and it works flawlessly. Excellent customer service that’s worth 5 stars alone!

Copper HDMI cables can't go past 50ft without loosing signal. These new optical cables are the solution to blast past the 50ft mark. Product works exactly as described and does not loose any signal. Running 20m (65ft) 4k HDR 120hz with almost no latency, at least not noticable. Take care while installing, optical cables are much more fragile than copper, one bad kink or bend in the line and your $200 cable is garbage. (Fair warning) Pair this with an AV access or Orie, 2.0 or 3.0 usb extender over ethernet and you have your self a TV in the upstairs bedroom playing off of the computer in the basement. Pro tip: For games (Hydra launcher, with Real-Debris) For Media (Stremio, with Real-Debris) Your welcome ;)

The cable stopped working after 1 year so I wrote to the company for the warranty and in less than 24 hours they gave me the choice to send me a new one at no cost! Good company The cable works in 4k 120hz / Hdr / Vrr

Awesome product just the right one for my Hisense C2 Projector. It works perfectly well with the soundbar and makes a whole lot of difference. It’s worth it.!!

It fixed my HDR and UHD issues I had with other cables!! My only suggstion go to there official website and order from there its almost have the price then the amazon only catch it takes about 2 weeks to recived it I give them 4 stars only becose of the price difference if not I would give it 5 stars
