I received 5 replies. 2 replies were incorrect...the epaulets are not sewn on and I did not have to alter the tunic in any way. 3 replies were correct, just unbutton them. I am 6', 180 lbs, size 46 was too tight around my chest over a flannel shirt. I returned it and ordered a size 48. The chest of the size 48 is comfortable, but I had to tailor it due to my "athletic" build and had to shorten the sleeves an inch.
