It Works!
I had a severe ear problem caused by a barking dog. I couldn’t stand the pain so I purchased a box of ear plugs from the local drug store and they didn’t reduce the sound at all – the rest of the box went into the trash. Peltor Hearing Protection reduced the barking noise to the point that the dog sounded as if he was a mile away. The only drawback is lack of adjustment for fitting to the head.

Muy caro para lo que ofrecen
Sin ser un gran experto, considero que hay productos en el mercado que ofrecen mejores atributos por el mismo precio..... será que es solo cuestión de Marca?

Works for a youth (10yrs old), only NRR22 tho, more suitable for outdoor than for loud indoor range
This "Peltor Sport Youth Hearing Protection, NRR 22, Black, Great for Shooting Range, Hunting, Loud Events, Quiet, Studying (22 dB NRR, 22 Db Nrr)" pair of hearing protection is well made and fits quite well for a youth, in particularly a 10years old. It is comfortable and adjustable, and wearing it for an extended time won't cause too much fatigue. One issue with these is that it is only rated for NRR (noise reduction rating) 22, NRR 22 is kind of the minimum rating necessary for shooting sports, and typically, the recommended NRR rating for indoor shooting is somewhere between NRR 28 to 31. So, this Peltor pair is at best be ok for outdoor shooting and really not sufficient for any indoor shooting. When I am using these, I always have to "double up" with some ear plugs and then this pair of Peltor on top of the ear plug.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Little people hearing protectors
These 3M technology youth hearing protectors are just what's needed for protecting those growing sensitive ear drums. Any loud venue, think race track, drag strip, concerts, stadium games like football or hockey, basketball can all be mind numbingly loud and these hearing protectors are well made with padded head bale and comfortable padded ear muffs, they are NOT adjustable in length, however, have plenty of range of motion for years of hard use. They are light weight, durable and provide easy on and off functionality while muffling and deadening noise efficiently to 22 Decibels! Store easily with fold in ear muffs.

Blocks a good amount of sound
These are almost the size of adult muffs, and they definitely fit adults with smaller heads. They do cancel noise. But they are the typical tight and uncomfortable things. My husband had to show me how these adjust by pulling on the shiny metal posts that go into the muffs. I was expecting the headband part to adjust (like sound headphones), and I would NEVER have tried pulling on the muffs like he did. He's more experienced with this equipment than I am. If they feel too small, you probably didn't know this either. Pull on them until more of the shiny metal shows and they will be bigger.Overall, they aren't bad at all. They DO block sound, and that's what matters. But they aren't comfortable enough to get my granddaughter to keep them on right now. I want her hearing projected when we visit Grandpa out in the garage. I wish there was something that wouldn't squeeze her head enough to make her pull them off immediately. I'm guessing they are better for older kids who you can reason with about keeping them on.
