How many walnuts are in the 5lb bag?

There are about 200. I counted out 100 and there looks like an equal amount left in the bag.

Have these been heat treated in any way as in pasteurized? Thx

I cannot be sure but I don't think so because they taste truly fresh and look raw. I've had these kind of nuts fresh from the grove and this brand tastes like those I remember from down home. I have purchased these for last four months and will continue to do so, as I am pleased with this product and it's freshness.
