The items were bought for someone who does not wear boots. He only wears them with his shoes. According to him they are comfortable to him when he wears them with his shoes. He did not mention anything about slippery. In fact it was those types of socks that he was looking for. He finally got them and enjoying them. The grey ones are a little smaller. They fit Mens US Shoe Size 8-10. The other colors fit 8.5-10.5.
