If i buy these FOBs here, Can I use the same metal key to replace the blank one with? Or do I need to have the new FOB programmed still? Kia Dealer wanted to charge me $200 for it and programming it. Pls advise thanks. **Q: is this the laser cut key or the regular cut key?** A: It comes as an uncut blank key. I think it’s a laser cut type. **Q: Can i purchase this for a 2012 kia soul can i just put the new.front on the old back.?.. I just need the rubber buttons.** A: I bought one for our daughters 2011 Soul and it worked perfectly. However taking it apart is much simpler than putting it back together! There is a small spring that flips out the key that is very tricky to wind up with sufficient tension on it when you reassemble. Other than that, there is no programming required. Good Luck! **Q: What kind of battery does this remote take?** A: I do not know, but to replace it only cost about $4.00 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value, exactly what I needed. *by Y***D on 27 October 2025* ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works lime a charm. *by M***H on 20 March 2026* ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good! *by C***2 on 29 April 2025* ## Frequently Bought Together - fits 2012-2014 Kia Rio / 2010-2013 Kia Soul Flip Key Fob Remote Case Shell (NYOSEKSAM11ATX) - Keyecu Replacement Remote Key Fob for Kia Soul 2010 2011 2012 2013 ID46 315MHz FCC ID: NYOSEKSAM11ATX(AMFL) / 95430-2K340 Black - Windshield A-Pillar Trim Molding Set, Compatible with Kia Soul 2010 2011 2012 2013, Front Outer Right Passenger & Left Driver 861702K500 861802K500 86180-2K500 86170-2K500 Window Outside Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/339599589-fits-2012-2014-kia-rio-2010-2013-kia-soul-flip](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/339599589-fits-2012-2014-kia-rio-2010-2013-kia-soul-flip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
