Very easy to install and ti use just remember to manually deactivate if you have small kids or babies because it really does it's job sounding waaay loud! Would buy again for sure.

Moving into an apartment close to a major avenue and a new neighborhood made me want to have extra security on windows facing the street. I was traveling for work and did not have time to look for a more elaborate system and I did not want to spend too much. As expected, checking Amazon I found this set of alarms that had just the right number of units. They arrived fast and were easy to install. Each alarm was a little larger than I expected, but they all came armed with batteries and ready to peel and stick; the alarm goes on the window or door and the magnet unit goes on the oposite end of the frame. Each alarm has a small switch on the side that allows you to turn them on or off as needed. I tested them by opening the windows while the alarm was on, and they performed better than expected. The sound is a very loud chirping that continues uninterrupted until the window or door is closed again and the alarm is in contact with the magnet. I purchased these alarms about six months ago thinking about replacing them soon with a more expensive system, but the batteries on these alarms are still working perfectly so I decided to keep them until the batteries run out and if they continue to work the way they do, I might just replace the batteries and keep them longer. The only reason why I didn’t rate them five stars, is because they are a little bulky. The double sided tape they come with is generally enough so unless they get wet they will not fall.
