Amazing for vulvar varicosities in pregnancy
I'm on my second pregnancy and only have mild symphysis pubis dysfunction this time, so maybe the belt has helped with that, or maybe I just don't have as much of an issue with that for the second one. This review is for treating vulvar varicosities. The crotch straps are amazing for that. Without the straps, I have such significant swelling and pain that it's difficult to walk around and I have to rest with my feet up. As soon as I put the straps on, I don't really notice any discomfort at all. I wouldn't be able to work, exercise, or clean without the straps. I'm so glad I got them. With regard to the overall comfort of the belt, I would certainly prefer not to have to wear it, but it's not that bad. It doesn't show under clothes as much as I thought it would. It is a bit of a pain to pull it up and down every time I go to the bathroom, but it's still worth it. It took me a few days to get the adjustments just right so that it was comfortable and not chaffing (I also found that wearing granny panties and a panty liner or pad helps keep things from chaffing or pinching). Here's how I put it on: Each morning I adjust the main belly belt first (not quite as snug as you would to treat SPD because it is a bit uncomfortable when you sit down and it gets tighter), then I attach the crotch straps in the back at the angle shown in the product picture. I pull the crotch straps through to the front, criss-cross them, and attach them so they are right next to each other (a lot closer than in the product image). Then, I readjust the crotch straps in the back so that they are even, tight enough and in a comfortable position. Then, I put the back strap on (again, not quite as snug as you might for treating SPD). Then, for the rest of the day, I just pull them up and down to use the bathroom instead of re-doing the whole setup. Anyway, if you unfortunately have vulvar varicosities during pregnancy, I hope those tips help.

I’d only gained 8 lbs and my belly hadn’t started popping out too noticeably at all (I looked like I’d just eaten a big lunch)
Instant relief! I got this when I was 24 weeks pregnant... I’d only gained 8 lbs and my belly hadn’t started popping out too noticeably at all (I looked like I’d just eaten a big lunch), but the internal pressure in my pelvis had started causing groin swelling and pain for a couple weeks. I think I may have a hernia or the beginnings of one on my right side. I felt demoralized that I was having so much discomfort when standing or sitting even for just a few minutes and I was worried about how it would / will worsen as my pregnancy progresses. I’ve used this band with the groin supports for a few days and have noticed instant relief when wearing it! I’ve worn it under clothes when out (dresses and jeans with long shirts) and over my clothes when I’m at home. I recommend wearing a buffer layer like stretch/ compression shorts underneath if you plan to wear it under your clothes so the support straps won’t chaff your skin. It’s not noticeable under a lot of looser clothing... obviously the lines would show if you’re wearing only leggings with nothing covering your bottom. I’ve noticed that with a little wiggling I can pull it down with all the Velcro in place to use the bathroom, etc which should give a little more life to the Velcro closures. I am so pleased and I hope it continues to be effective as my belly becomes bigger over the next few months. As it is, this purchase has already been worth it - allowing me to stand and walk for hours without feeling any of the groin/pelvic pain I had started to experience on a constant basis. The product does cost more than I’d like to have spent, but I consider it well worth it. It seems like fairly good quality and I’ll be incredibly happy if it continues to help me as I progress in my pregnancy!

Did the trick. Not happy I have to wear it but worth it
Ok. I’ll try to make this brief but I need to explain the reason I needed this belt. 1. I am 31 weeks expecting my 5th baby. I work full time and I have a bad habit of slouching in my office chair over my desk because a I want to take the pressure the weight off my body and me I like to lean against my desk because I’m tired. This causes a lot of lower back pain. I’m also very active taking care of my other kids. 2. Swelling. I did not think I needed belly support as I have never considered it for my other pregnancies. However for my last pregnancy at 36 weeks and now this one at 30 weeks I began to have swelling in my lady region with varicose veins to go with it. Sometimes incredibly painful. My doctor suggested compression underwear or a belly band for support. So I searched and found this with the groin compression Velcro straps. Ok first of all I hate belly bands and having anything around my belly. I am at a point in my pregnancy that compression sounds horrid. But I needed pain relief. I still have to work. This is my first belly support experience. This was a splurge financially for me. So I was nervous. When I first received it and tried it on I didn’t find it to be uncomfortable. The compression straps for the groin were Surprisingly comfortable given the fact I had two straps between my legs. I wore this for two days and it is a night and day difference in my swelling and back pain. It is difficult to bend down and move around with it on but I feel like that is to be expected anyway in the third trimester. Cons… I HAVE TO wear a long fitted undershirt and put this over it. The band part slips after moving around and the Velcro is very itchy. The tag on the back is also ichy. I also recommend rearranging it once and awhile throughout the day as it can irritated parts of the body (and I never noticed until the end of the day) Yes you can see this through any kind of stretchy pant. And just barely the outline in maternity jeans. But if your shirt is long enough it shouldn’t be a problem. So naturally there are draw backs to having to wear something like this but to my surprise it worked really well. And I am extremely relieved that I have a solution to get me through the next 8 weeks. I have never tried other belly bands but this seems like an excellent medical grade band that I believe is most definitely worth the money.

Very good and useful belt, during pregnancy seems to be bit costlier but worth every rupee spent on it
