Tech21 Impact Clear for iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus – Matte

I got this case for my girlfriend for Christmas, to replace the original Tech 21 case she bought when her iPhone 6s Plus was brand new. The original identical case survived multiple drops, but had eventually become discolored over the years. All she wanted was a new case, not a new phone. You can’t beat that for protection, and loyalty to a product.

This exact brand/model were sold at the Apple store for $30.00-$35.00 at the time my (very old) iPhone 6s Plus plus was purchased. I carry my phone on my scrubs pocket(dark blue) the original cover was wicked the blue onto this clear cover(after 4 years) and purchased another here on Amazon. I’ve dropped my phone several times and has yet to break with this brand of cover. Apple does make a reliable /durable cell phone and should be buying a replacement (apps should stop updating soon).

This phone surpassed my expectations by far. It’s like a brand new phone. Took my Sim card out of my old phone and popped it into this one. Turned it on and was prompted to download the software and update just like getting a new phone. The process took an hour or so but it was a fresh install. Battery health is at 100%. iCloud transferred all of my photos, emails, text messages and applications. Everything on my old phone is now on this new one. I did not expect a phone like this for under $250. I am frankly amazed.

It gets the job done. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s helped when I accidentally drop my phone. It has saved my iPhone countless times- strongly recommended.

Sturdy with a bit of thickness to provide protection. Still slim enough to fit in small places. The clear color does get a teeny bit dirty looking, but the pink version stay cleaner looking.

I use Tech21 cases for all iPhones I purchase. I've never broken a screen, even though I drop my phone all the time. Would highly recommend! One thing to note is that the clear-colored cases I've purchased typically turn yellow-y after about 9 months to a year. I think the company has created an anti-yellow case, but I would check if this is something that bothers you.

The volume-up button was completely rigid. I could turn the volume down but I could not turn it up, right from the start.I called the phone number on the box which directed me to email the company. I wrote a detailed email describing the problem and included my Amazon receipt. The guy who responded had clearly not even read my email and asked me what I had done to break the cover.I wrote him again with the details. He wrote me back, again not having read my email and demanded I jump through a whole list of requirements to get a refund.I had had enough and contacted Amazon. Amazon refunded my money.

Hey it's Tech21 what else do you need to know. I was a little apprehensive when I first received my product. It's a hard plastic and I've only had the gel covers from Tech21 in the past... but it's already proved it's value and protection!

This is my second Tech21 iPhone case. The build and fit quality are very good. It gives me total confidence that my phone will be well protected. I would recommend Tech21 products to all.

Le produit est de bonne qualité, très rigide et donc il protège bien le mobile. Cependant je trouve les bords trop épais et un peu disgracieux, ce qui augmente les proportions du mobile. Mais peut-être faut-il cela pour une protection optimale. La transparence est très mate et de couleur grise. Néanmoins, je recommande ce produit.

I have a tech21 case on my iPhone 12 which I’m very happy with. BUT! I’m planning on returning a more recent purchase of a tech 21 case for my iPhone 6 Plus because with the case installed it restricts the ability to operate the iPhone 6 Plus side volume buttons. To explain the difference would simply to point out that in that the newer Tech21 case’s volume buttons move independently of a the case itself where as in the older model cases like the one I purchased for my iPhone 6 Plus, they do not! At first I thought I must have installed the case incorrectly but under further inspection it simply appears that the inability of the cases side bottons to influence the movements of the phone’s buttons is the issue. I have to return this product as I purchased a competitor’s case brand & it works no problem.
