I really like this. It saves me so much flour. If I put flour in a dish and have to much I have to throw the flour out after dipping raw meat in to the dish. The dredge is great cause I can sprinkle just the right amount of flour on my meat before frying. You'll probably figure this out when you get one but it sprinkles better if you hold it horizontal rather than holding it straight up and down like a salt Shaker. I really do like it.

These are great shakers. I use one for pink salt crystals & the other for chia seeds. The ability to shake out both products and being able to control the volume that comes out was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting to have to modify them but they work fine. The tops come off easy when refilling and they are capable of holding large quantities of whatever you put in them. Because its stainless steel they will last a very long time.

I use this stainless steel dredge shaker every time I make sourdough bread, and it’s become one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. It distributes flour evenly and lightly, which is perfect for dusting my bannetons and work surface without overdoing it. No more clumps or mess! Salt is the enemy of steel, and vice versa. Otherwise, I love the shaker. I got a set of two and planned to use for popcorn salt which requires the tiny holes. Within a few months the salt ate right through the thin wall of the shaker and the inside bottom had begun to corrode. I should have realized this would happen. I pitched it and am now using the remaining shaker with a thin plastic 'baggie' as a liner and a few grains of rice to keep the powdery salt from caking. Works great. I remove the lid for cleaning after every few uses just to be sure it does not corrode.

Love this salt shaker. This is restaurant grade and you will find it at any restaurant kitchen. I love using it when I cook meats or when I prep salads.

Love this for the baking soda I use to keep by my sink for cleaning . Doesn’t rust and perfect size .

Makes it so easy to dust the top of a dessert with powdered sugar, without it going everywhere except where you meant it to! Handy, easy to hold, easily washed, stainless steel with screw on lid - good quality. What I do not use, I dump back into the original bag and wash container out, but I suppose if one used it very frequently, they could keep it in the container. Would work for spice combinations for casseroles, pizzas, etc. too, as long as the spice was small enough to fit through the holes. A handy kitchen gadget that I have used several times already - and bought a second one for a gift.

Perfect - provides enough opening for powdered sugar to spread around on the item(s), but not so much as to make a mess!

Excellent quality and handy shaker. We use it for buttery popcorn powder and it is easy to distribute evenly. Wouldn't mind purchasing another one to sprinkle chocolate powder on my lattes or icing sugar on pancakes, french toast, cookies, etc.

I use this stainless steel dredge (Amazon has the name pluralized at the time of this writing but you will receive only 1 dredge per order unless you purchase more) for pouring Flavocol popcorn seasoning (also sold on Amazon) onto my popcorn. And for that, this dredge does an admirable job. The holes are evenly spaced and mine were properly machined so as to as smooth and polished as the main body of the dredge. The handle is basic but securely attached and does not move when the dredge is full of your preferred product. Overall I would recommend this dredge if you are in the market for a strong attractive vessel to store your seasonings. Recommended. 5/5
