CeraVe Exfoliating Treatment, Anti Aging Serum with Glycolic Acid, 17oz

I love CeraVe products! I find them to work very well with my skin. I had eczema when I was a child, and during the summer and winter months, my skin can get very dry. And these products help! I will continue to order CeraVe! I love using this at night before I go to bed! Great value for my money and it's perfect for sensitive skin. As of right now, this is the only nightly moisturizer I will use.

Loving how my skin feels in the morning. I am a 50+ yo olive skinned female who worshipped the sun as a teen. I now have dry spots and a few age spots showing up. This CeraVe Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating treatment is making a world of difference. I have to admit I am using CeraVe’s vitamin C serum in conjunction so I am not sure which is doing what. However with the serum in the morning and the exfoliating treatment at night my skin is becoming soft, smooth, and the spots are fading. I have been using them for 2 months 3-5 days a week with no side effects ie itching, redness, or burning. I have already added these to my subscription list. Don’t want to run out!

My skin looks terrible ever since I turned 40. Perimenopause has set in, and I’m getting hormonal breakouts all along my chin and jaw line. They’re hard, cystic, and stubborn to treat. I’ve seen people raving about lactic acid and niacinamide on social media, so I got this and the CeraVe moisturizing face wash. This stuff BURNS if you have any acne marks or abrasions, but by the next morning they’re healing! It’s extremely gentle. I used another product with lactic acid in it previously, but noticed a lot of drying and peeling after a few days. I haven’t experienced that with nightly use. My skin looks glowing, more radiant, FIRMER, and my tone is evening out. No changes to dark spots (yet). I have less bumps, no new breakouts, less redness, and more hydration. I’m using it alongside a peel by The Ordinary (the dark red one) and my skin hasn’t looked this good in years! Even though there’s added hydration, I still need to buy a simple, basic moisturizer; I’ll look at CereVe since my skin likes this. UPDATE: I took my skincare routine one step further and got a different cleanser. If you suffer from hormonal acne like me, try zinc soap (but look for Pyrithione Zinc, usually 1-2%). I got a bar of it on Amazon, and I swear these two products together have been life changing. Hello clear skin!!! Hope this helps. 😉

I wanted to find an AHA serum to incorporate into my nighttime skincare regimen to help with hyper pigmentation and menopausal acne. After doing some research, I decided to try this serum. I am outside in the sun quite a bit but I do use sunscreen religiously. My skin usually tolerates "actives" (retinol,etc.) pretty well so I wasn't overly concerned about irritation or sensitivity from using this product. I applied a thin layer to my face the night I used it and woke up to what looked and felt like moderate wind burn/sunburn. My skin was back to normal after a day or two with some intense moisturizing and avoiding the sun. My skin does look and feel smoother, like I'd had a light chemical peel, which is essentially what this product is. While I probably won't use this product again any time soon, I would recommend it as long as you use a moisturizer before application (which I didn't do), wear sunscreen while using it, and limit sun exposure.

This item is basic. I have not noticed any exfoliation taking place. My skin looks the same as it did before I used this. I do have nice skin, but thought I'd see resultsnof the exfoliator.

Item arrived in a unpadded Amazon pouch with zero bubble wrap or packing peanuts, so no surprises the original box came crushed. I was actually shocked the bottle inside was still intact.

Understand that this has properties that may cause your skin to purge. This product didn't really work out for me. Skin reacted quite strongly. Decided to stop use. Won't be repurchasing! Caveat: it may work better for someone with less sensitive skin.
