Not like the American concept of a marshmallow scent, but excellent product
This product has a nice consistency and smells really good, but it's not at all what I would characterize as a typical American idea of a marshmallow scent. It's not a vanilla-based scent (like Philosophy Crispy Marshmallow Bars, BBW Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds, or Calgon Marshmallow spray), but rather a fruity/berry scent (like that retro strawberries or raspberries with whipped cream Jello mold dessert or berry yogurt). After smelling a few different UK brands of marshmallow bath/body products recently, I've come to the conclusion that they have a different definition of marshmallow than we do in the U.S.. So heads up, if you're an American vanilla marshmallow scent fanatic like I am, this is not going to fit the bill. That said, I really love the product overall. It's very moisturizing, rich and creamy (but not dense or tacky), and the berry scent is lovely. I look forward to trying other body butter scents in this line.
