Q: Does this stocking have the full color pattern printed on the mesh?

Yes, the pattern is printed on the mesh. There are a lot of close color variations and highlighting that make the pattern somewhat difficult. You have to improvise from the picture some.

Q: On the key is shown for the backstitches there are 2 black lines. One thin (black), one thick (maroon). I cannot distinguish them on the chart?

I never finished the stocking. Sorry I'm no help.
